Ok class lets review:
Stolen jerseys: Just pan the crowd and see who’s wearing them, should be easy to do.
In case of stolen jersey, never write your own last name in your own handwriting. Get a Phillipino or oriental, for some reason those engineering types from other countries have better pensmanship in English than Americans..or at worst case, get a Cheerleader with bubbly handwriting to do it, but that hand writing in upper and lowercase was hilarious..
it looked like an old P.E. Coach had written those names…….

Chan or no Chan, to not go just to see Calvin Johnson in person is shameful. Seeing a talent like Calvin Johnson play in person should be on any football fan’s list of important things to do regardless.

Try going to a game when it’s actually close and the fans haven’t given up on the team. It’s not bad. It’s not the swamp or Death Valley by any stretch of the imagination, but it can get pretty loud (see: end of the Maryland game last year)

I don’t want to hear a goddamn word about this being Chan’s fault.

This shit was all on the following:

Taylor Bennett – He threw 2 AWFUL balls right to VT defenders and 2 other picks that probably shouldn’t have been thrown either.

The receivers – I literally have no words to describe how pissed I am about James not getting that long ball Nesbitt threw or Greg Smith for dropping a pass that hit him in the goddamn hands.

The pass defense – hurr, they’re running the same quick-out play every single time. lets just let them keep getting 10+ yards every time they do it, k?

This debacle evolved from a total lack of focus, preparation, and, as sad as I am to say it, effort. Most of the team played their guts out, but I honestly think our problems in the passing game are the result of some of the receivers not putting 100% out there every play. James Johnson should have laid out for that ball that Nesbitt threw.

I was there last night and I was beyond the point of being angry. We looked like the 11 fucking Stooges out there and made Glennon (!!!!!!!) look like a fucking superhero. Fuck that. This fucking football team is why I’m 24 and going grey.

I agree, the atmosphere at Bobby Dodd is pretty bad. Most of the fans leave at halftime if the team is losing or winning by at least 2 scores. For a school with a decent football history, I’d think the fans would care a little more. I know that Chan Gailey’s coaching is about as varied and exciting as vanilla pudding, but thats no reason for the fans to boo their own team at halftime or throw crap at Boston College when they’ve already lost.

GT football is boring as hell.

I enjoyed two basketball “exhibition” games on the Big Ten Network more than that game.

I went to the game last night. I’m not a fan of either school that played, and I have to say that as far as atmosphere goes, Bobby Dodd is among the worst in America. You’re not supposed to be able to have a conversation with the person sitting next to you without raising your voice during a game, but at BD you can.

Also, what is it with this gay house music that is played before the game starts that gets all the students jumping up and down? If you’ve seen any Big East, Big Ten, or ACC game (or any game at the Swamp) you know what music I’m talking about. A college football game is not a rave, and we’re not all on ecstasy.

If I went to GT grad school, I don’t know if I’d go to their football games. Maybe a Thursday game, but I’d be in Athens on Saturdays.
