RYAN PERRILOUX CAN CALL HIS LAWYER AT 2:45 A.M.
Perrilloux, sit down, have a drink. We have a lawyer we can call at 2:45 a.m. in our cellphone. We have several, actually, mostly because everyone we knew went to law school, a sort of advanced youth camp for adolescents that only costs 20-30K a year and involves learning unlearning the English language and playing golf. The conversations usually run something like this:
O: dOOd.
Lawya: d00d.
O: I just watched Pathfinder. Vikings rool. Ahm drunk.
Lawya: Going back to bed now.
O: fuck you!
Lawya: (Click!)
This may be the first thing we have in common with Ryan Perrilloux, who was allegedly beaten up along with linebacker Derrick Odom at The Varsity in Baton Rouge. You don’t party with your pregnant girlfriend? Playa, shine up and get the lady out the house once in a while. Even pregnant ladies can crank dat.
According to a police report, bouncers at the Varsity claimed they were forced to escort LSU football players Perrilloux and Odom outside the club after they refused to leave. Parish law says bars must close at 2 a.m. Bouncers also said several subjects made statements that they would leave and come back with guns.
Perilloux and Odom told police they were unfairly treated by the bouncers, and that the bouncers shoved them and their pregnant girlfriends out of the club. No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made.
Odom, previously involved in a fracas at an apartment complex, also posted this following whatever happened on Friday night at the club on his Facebook page on Saturday morning according to the LSU Reveille.
Odom’s public profile on Facebook, an online social network, featured a status message early Saturday morning that may have alluded to the situation.
“Derrick is sayin the fight dont end til u die BITCH,” Odom apparently wrote at 8:02am.
Odom updated his page just minutes later with another message.
“Derrick is trippin on how these fools try to run up on u behind ya back when they know they cant fuck wit u 1 on 1 but he got something that will shut all that shit down,” he wrote at 8:05 a.m. Saturday.
He has to be referring to sterling conflict resolution skills, in which case he can apply to law school and kill two birds with one stone for Perriloux, being both his lawyer and his, um…lawya. Miles is holding both out of practice pending some investigation and clarification regarding the incident, but remember these three things from the incident:
1. Ryan Perriloux has a lawyer he can call at 2:45 a.m.
2. Even if you are a pregnant lady, you can get tossed out of a Baton Rouge club.
3. Never, ever Facebook at 8 in the morning following a night of clubbin’. Even if the fight dont end til u die BITCH.

Odom will probably be kicked off the team. The guy is a thug and this isn’t his first mistake. He was the supposed “ring leader” in this scuffle.
RP, on the other hand, is no angel either, but he will likely be suspended for following the Alabama game (wink wink) and for the remainder of the year (wink wink) to be reinstated for any games that may occur in 2008.

Odom’s proclamation that “the fight dont end til u die BITCH” is particularly interesting when juxtaposed with the lawyer’s statement that “My understanding is he got beat up.”
Maybe Odom meant the royal “you,” and he fully intends to keep going back to the bar and getting thrashed by bouncers until he croaks.

Who thinks taking pregnant women to that sort of establishment is a good idea?
So, many questions to ask that will go unanswered in this one.
But, it sounds like no crimes were committed, or no charges are going to be filed, didn’t read the full text, so why are those two not practicing? Curfew violation?

katrina wasn’t a category four when it hit new orleans; it was a category three. while some flooding would have occurred regardless of how well the levees had been constructed, the majority of the damage was due to faulty workmanship. had the levees been as strong as the Corps said they were, new orleans would not have been inundated to such catastrophic proportions. in fact, the city didn’t flood until a day after katrina hit.

#52–You’re absolutely right. But Mississippi got their shit together and rebuilt while Louisiana is still trying to figure out what the fuck happened so it’s like it never happend to Mississippi. Go to NOLA and survey the damage that is still there, two years later.
This RP/Odom snafu is not the thing LSU needs before ‘Bama. Everyone in BR is on pins and needles worrying about Dorsey, and heart attack threat levels only subsided once it looked as though the Tigers might possibly not have to possibly play Florida in the SEC championship.
And, no confirmation, but it appears that the son of the Saints GM was involved (as in Odom went smashy smashy on his SUV). That might make it harder for this one to just simply “go away.”

Partially correct take a drive along the coast of MS on hwy 90 and you’ll see that’s what’s not back two years later.
Oh and make sure you head up to I-10 in Biloxi because the bridge is still out between Biloxi and Ocean Springs on hwy 90.

Odom made up the pregnant girlfriend story to his lawya’ and his lawya’ replayed it for Teh Advocate…RP’s attorney reported this and straightened it out. No one came back with a gun. Alleged threats were made regarding a weapon, but no one had one, blade or gat. Police came back because a car was damaged during the altercation. Both RP and Odom are troublemakers and thugs…RP’s just more of a follower and has less sense than TD’s this season. Rumors are that Dorsey was there and trying to break up the fight. Numerous LSU players were there to watch a teammate perform on stage at The Varsity. The Varsity is a very clean cut bar right outside of LSU. And yes…at 2:00 am, bouncers in Baton Rouge start herding clientele outside of the building, physically if they have to…EVERY bar in BR does that…this is NOT something new…it’s kinda’ only been ongoing for the past 11 years when the drinking age changed to 21. It keeps the ABC board from shutting them down. RP was also advised, by his lawyer, NOT to press charges. Which he would have subsequently lost.
