Since when does Tebow need inflammatories and more padding, Tracy Woodson?
Tim Tebow scoffs at your man-made remedies for pain; he takes the pain he feels and imparts it upon his opponents.

Coach Fran is a demon of life and esoteric wisdom.

Kentucky looked worn the fuck out today after getting through USC, LSU and UF. State looks like they have all year. Result: Another upset.
by LSUJoshua on Oct 27, 2007 3:36 PM EDT reply actions
And Woodson pretty much threw his Heisman 49 yards down the field on those late, ill advised throws (interception among them).

goddammit, tell me the Dawgs didn’t just do the mock-chomp on the first play of the game…..

nice exclamation point there for Miss State as the tb gets leveled on the swing pass.

Fucking stupid holding penalty taking away a massive touchdown by McKnight…grumble.

Joe McKnight is going to be really really good. His TD run was called back, but he looks great.

This is so much fun. LSU is not playing. I have no money on any games. My stress level was just pronounced clinically dead.
The only thing that sucks is watching TTech and Colorado is like watching actual intramurals brother. Just waiting for CBS to switch to the Cocktail Party and for ABC to switch to some Pac10 battle.
Good job Croom and State.

Damn Vanderbilt is tied at the half to Miami of Ohio…bet that burns the OBC’s toast.

Just occurred to me that all Croom has to do is beat Orgeron and he’s in a bowl game.
by John on Oct 27, 2007 3:43 PM EDT reply actions
Beat the O or the Rabid Sack of Weasels and he is in. I think he and State could get both.

Hell Croom beat Alabama last year and they have a week off before the game while Alabama is hopefully going all out against LSU. I am not going to lie that I am worried about that game.

Well looks like Croom got his immunity necklace this year in Survivor:Starkville….
Either the SEC is really tuff or everyone is really mediocre….the SEC is like one big tough man contest where you have to fight 10 fights in one night, bell to bell, no knockouts, just slugfest to the last bell, back to back, concussion or no concussion just to get to the regional finals, no matter how gimpy or bruised up you are. Then face an opponent that has fought 3 Glass Joes with 3 ten second first round knockouts and is ranked #1 and hasnt even broken a sweat…..

I think the word “class” is going to take a vacation after today. That word is getting worn out like a $5 whore after a quick perusal of different message boards. There’s already a 5 page debate on the UGA td on an LSU board.
The SEC refs also need to think about better home security as they are the second most popular topic today.

Let me be the first to hijack the thread with the Big T1e1n comment dujour…
So when Iowa beats Illinois and Michigan State, and Minnesota is up on Michigan it proves that the Big T1e1n sucks ass.
When Vandy beats TOBC, and Croom beats Kentucky and Auburn, it proves that the SEC is fifteen flavors of awesomeness from top to bottom.
Let ranting begin

I accept your blame and raise you a middle finger. My wife is an AU fan (mixed marriage). You should have seen her face last week on that play. re: the face-cut/shaving thing Gary said…. granted it sounded retarded here, but he used the analogy earlier this week on sports talk radio in Atlanta. his point (then) was that, if you cut your face shaving, your going to treat it a little gingerly, pay it a little more attention the next few times you shave. therefore, even if tebow’s shoulder is only a little bit dinged up, it still may effect him.

Is a polo too dressy for you? Do you feel too constrained in your job as a insurance claims adjuster, where the “dress requirement” states you have to wear a shirt with a collar on it, thus you have to 5th grade it up and wear a t-shirt on the weekends?

The best part about Munson’s call is his soliloquy afterwards about breaking the chair, the stadium falling about, UGA fans in St. Simon’s and Jekyl Island going batshit. UGA just miraculously scored and Munson is talking about anything but what just happened on the field. It’s sublime. Find it on youtube and enjoy.

In all fairness we kinda needed Georgia to win this one, its not a rivalry unless the other side wins a few. Our team is young all around and it showed today, but I would love to be Urban for next years pre-game speech just put on the video of there entire team coming onto the field for the first touch down and ask them if they want to see that again. All that being said, that was one of the most classless acts I’ve ever seen on a football field by a team that is supposed to represent a first class educational institution. DIAF Georgia, DIFA.

Richt is a fucking joke. Georgia was as classless as they come in this game, from the get-go. Ooohhh Georgia beat us? We barely had a fucking team. by m on Oct 27, 2007 7:16 PM EDT reply actions
Hey, I’m not taking anything away from them and i know the whole “your team is classless” thing is something losers say after getting whipped. I’m just suggesting that running your entire team onto the field to intentionally get a celebration penalty is bullshit, and if you don’t think so you’re drinking some UGA koolaid. It might have helped them win but Urban much like God in the old testament is a vengeful coach and i expect that he won’t ever pull any punches when he has UGA beat late in the 4th anytime soon.

Unrelated to UGA/UF but LSU players Perilloux and Odom once again mentioned in criminal activities on the local news (WAFB Baton Rouge) this evening. More information by Monday. It involved fighting, possibly guns, and possibly more auto damage. Xavier Carver once again involved.
by jeneria on Oct 27, 2007 7:16 PM EDT reply actions
@283
As long as they’re willing to take the penalty I don’t see anything wrong with it. I think it was way too risky in that it got our team pumped up and motivated to go lay a whuppin on em, but of course since we couldn’t do that, it seemed to have worked.

- Turtles are in the water, Tourises walk on land. It was obviously a turle and a scorpion but you can substitute so many anmals, the bottom line is Florida’s D sucks. I count sheep like I do Kyle Jackson Missed Tackles and I do not look forward to a certain pompous idiot on the radio Monday Morning explaining what happened.

I can’t wait to see the pollsters put the Gators in at 14 with 3 losses because “um… its Florida right?”

312 – “I still take pleasure from the fact that I’m an alumnus of the one school in the SEC that knows the south lost the civil war.”
Your own professors admit Florida’s schools can’t compete with Georgia, Virginia, and Wisconsin, and all of a sudden you think you’re better than Vandy? Please. You’ve got a decent school, and your team just lost. Grow up.

The UF-UGa game was so saturday special… fat kid wanna be athletr beats pretty boy all-american… The best part of the game was when UF ran the Tebow motion out of the QB under center. They ran ti twice, once a fumble, once a timeout. I here there’s a variation where they run a holding call or a blown blocking assignment for a sack that they’re saving for the game against the OBC.
Awesome. Tebow cries, shows weakness, & Pope Urban was confused all day long today. Who says there’s no God? Superman has 3 losses… I don’t think it was a coincidence hearing Tina Turner’s "We Don’t Need Another Hero " yesterday at lunch,
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah my shoulder hurts…. Chuck Norris just called. He wants his masculinity back since Heir Tebow is obviously not ready for such skills.
One rule never fails- it’s only a matter of time before an option running QB in the SEC gets hurt.
It was pathetically obvious today Superman had kryptonite oatmeal for breakfast today.
I was only partially scared before, but now I’m not… bring it Tebow, so LSU can paint a 4 on that cape, Kal-El.

Awwwwwww, Auburn couldn’t cover 17.5 against Ole Miss? What a shocker… see, when I saw people saying “LSU got lucky,” I remembered LSU outgaining Auburn 488-296. & one of AUburn’s TDs coming off a legendary 6 yd. drive.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, slap yourself if you took Auburn & the 17.5.
