Alabama isn’t even close to the lowest age of consent in the nation. They are actually right in the middle(most of the country is hovering around 16 as the legal age) while Idaho’s age of consent is 14 and there are a couple of state’s at 15.

#52, not to mention that Alabama has near teh lowest (if not THE lowest) age of consent in the US). Then again, European countries are even lower (Holland or Belgium is trying get theirs lowered to 15, if I’m not mistaken), so maybe AL is more “progressive” (joking).

And yes, I DO live in Alabama.
