JOE PA'S ZOMBIE RAGE
Joe Paterno, road rageaholic? More in a bit, pending some serious, serious artwork and mocking up of mockery. But we sooo, sooo want this to be true.
Yesterday, two grad students (husband and wife)that I know were driving on campus and being followed closely by a white car. The white car passes them and then cuts them off and pins them against the curb. The driver gets out and starts screaming obscenities at the woman (who was driving), flipping both middle fingers and repeatedly saying "do you know who I am!".

Farkage by Irishoutsider, again.
More in a bit. Cue that "This is How Life Should Be" song from those Progressive Insurance ads. Awesome is losing its meaning as a word when it happens this often.

Joe has a history of bad driving – my one and only “joe paterno story” from college is the day he almost ran me over on Bigler Road – he was approaching a stop sign (which, obviously, are only for non-ivy grads), and I was in the crosswalk – no doubt I wasn’t moving quickly enough.

No where in the article did it mention JoePa relieved the two of their BRAINS. Therefore, the article is a complete fallacy.

Perhaps PSU should immortalize the incident in a statue honoring JoPa with double birds gleefully extended.

I always pictured that JoePa would drive a faded 1982 Cadillac DeVille with curb feelers, door guards and custom PA license plates down Atherton St. in State College with about 40 cars behind him patiently waiting for him to turn off because they all know who is holding up traffic and they don’t want to upset the man. JoePa’s average speed would have been around 18 miles an hour and he would be driving in the middle of two lanes of the road, sitting as forward as his power seats allow and trying to peer over the hood ornament on the front of his car.

They should have said, “Yes. You’re Bobby Bowden.”

I personally like to imagine JoePa driving around in a ride like DMac’s Impalla, " ’Sup, lawya!"

If you’ve ever been late for the noon airing of M*A*S*H, you wouldn’t be laughing right now.

road rage incident that has nothing to do with this story.
i once lost my shit in traffic when i got cut off here in dallas, only to cower back into my shell when upon pulling up next to the sweet ford f-150 and finding former vol jason witten. considering he was apologizing and considering he could put my face through my dashboard, i let his indiscretion slide.
admittedly joepa road rage is much funnier.

I think we’re going to hear from PSU on this tomorrow.

Why doesn’t he drive his offense like his car?
Fast and into the ground.

I have a friend at the PSUSD. The driver of the car was Tony Joiner and his wife, Tim Teblow, was riding shotgun.

I saw blurbs about that yesterday, but just could not make the emotional commitment to believe them….
I mean, this can’t be true, can it? Can it really? This season thus far has already been a schadenfraude pinata filled with even more pinatas for us OSU fans…and our 3rd string QB tries to buy a Ho for $20? Really, that’s all you got for us? Really?
Now that I’ve actually posted this, I’ll start scouring the internet for the looming MySpace page involving Beanie Wells, Vernon Gholston, Malcolm Jenkins and fifteen transexual asian midgets that we are overdue for….

I don’t remember why my name was Gene Keady, but I’m sure it had something to do with a bad hair joke awhile back….Damn non-editing sites…

Will JoePa punish himself and clean the stadium toilets? Leadership, you can smell it.

There’s a very good explanation for this. Joe thought Brett Bielema was driving and was still pissed at his kickoff scheme from last year.

What do you mean?? He’s driven the offense into the ground awfully quickly. Refer to the game at Michigan if you must.

@ #2 – I have a similar story in reverse.
I was driving down Park Ave to go to the IM building when and I see Joe trying to cross the street by the Beam Building. As traffic is slow, I wave him across in front of my beast of an Audi 200. He takes two steps, stops and hesitiates. I wave him again, and he proceeds shaking his head at me while he crosses and looking very concerned that i might gas it and hit him.
That’s when I realized I was wearing a maize Michigan shirt. :-)

Tbone, very clever snipe at Tebow!
Hardy Har Har!!!
In all seriousness, what is the state of PA thinking by issuing an 80 year old zombie with apparently some anger management issues a driver’s license at this point?
by Irwin Fletcher on Oct 9, 2007 5:44 PM EDT reply actions
Irwin, obviously you’ve never been to Florida.
That said, I’m finding the JoePa thing a little hard to believe. Doesn’t anybody else think this just doesn’t sound right?

Damn,
Big 10 coaches are getting soft these days. Woody would have pulled them out of their cars and beaten them.

I’ve been to Florida and it’s just as scary there!
I don’t know JoePa from Adam but it doesn’t sound right to me either.
