I am thinking the PAC-10 may be the best right now after seeing the OR-Cal game–so much better than all the SEC games today, I hate to say

Breaking news! — ESPN has listed Auburn-UF as an “Upset Watch” on the scoreboard page. Sounds serious.

I likje Levitt.
He’s a little batshit crazy, judging from his antics on the sideline, but he said all the right things on Game day today.

And Washington ties it up.
I have a feeling that we’ll be hearing a lot of “Conference X isn’t overrated, its just got great depth!” Seems like every conference can make that claim this week – the Big (L)East, Big Twelve, Big Ten, and possibly the PAC 10 and SEC.

#192 – I agree. However, I still think you’ll be hearing a lot of the parity over mediocrity argument this week based on the intra-conference upsets.

#191 — Sorry to say it, but the ACC hasn’t had much to hang their hat on this year. Finally had a couple of recent big OOC wins to give them some credibility.

Apparently a phone interview is mandatory for late night ESPN games… at least they were talking to a football coach and not a female soccer player in China like they were in one of Bama’s games.

Yeah, that sounds plausible. They look like they’re probably (and inexplicably) the class of the Big East. It defies the conventional logic, but since they’re the one of two Big East teams that seems to be interested in playing defense, it makes sense.

If they can clear Rutgers, you’d think they could run the table. However, don’t be shocked if USF gets a scare this week. They are prime for the proverbial emotional letdown, and they’re going on the road, and FAU might be Sun Belt, but they’re not a pushover.
