A disappointing College Gameday. No signs involving Lee Corso, a penis, or the relationship between the two.

I thought the signs today were pretty inspired. Especially Nate Longshore’s phone number. And all the SEC/Les Miles shit talking.
Man, Jimmie Clauson is just awful. I’m so happy he decided against going to USC.

PJ from NU in SF says:
It’s been annoying that I’ve had to hunt down today’s games on the DirecTivo, but what I see so far looks like a bookie’s nightmare.
Big 10+ Network sideline reporter Dara McIntosh is cute… but this “University of Ohio” is a new one. I hope nobody’s tried to explain the two Miamis to her. And why are the BTN crew in Evanston showing overall standings, when what counts in this world is conference results?
Mallett appears to be floundering, but I understand why Lllloyd is only using Henne on the first series of each half (per the Freep).
Side note to BTN: If I see one more shot of the Grosse Point lighthouse through a wobbly camera, I swear I’m going to get seasick.

Watching Dave, Dave, Dave, Dave, and their other brother Dave, on LF Network. Those MSU (”Step into the Maroon”) and USC (”Coach, I did a competitive analysis of the DB”) ads were terrible. Like, App State terrible.

Agreed on the USC commercial, I kept waiting for the OBC to say click-clack. In a way it reminded me of the old UGA commercial “when I walked through that arch, it changed my life.”

Just a note that most Tims are in fact much weaker than Tim Tebow. I have trouble carrying my 115 lb girlfriend to the bedroom without making my back a little sore.
For shame. I think I will go lift weights.

since I am without radio or the proper isp (espn 360 being the least user-friendly idea in human history), I must resort to following the BC-Massachusetts game by watching lines and arrows on ESPN Gamecast.

#3: I actually think that Clausen looks alright, minus the INT and staring down that one pass in the end zone. The rest of the team, however, . . . let’s just say Weis will look real good next year when he wins 600% more games than 2007.

Never mind squeaking by Washington: SC is screwed – the missus put both my kids in SC shirts today. She’s only put a college shirt on them twice before – both times Michigan (she’s from A2), and both times Michigan lost to SC at the Rose Bowl.

The werewolves are pretty “meh” today. I’m not sure what’s up with that pass protection, but if they bring that against a team that doesn’t suck they are gonna get creamed. No worries today though, Tulane doesn’t have the horses.

Interesting scores Miss St beating #16 South Carolina and Illinois beating #22 Penn State. Of course SEC fans will look at both games, should both teams get beaten by lesser opponents, and claim that Miss St’s win just shows how deep the conference is while Illinois’ wins just shows how bad PSU sucks. And they will do this despite Mizzu routing Ole Miss and Mizzu barely beating Illinois (with a back QB).

Hey Erik,
Since I go to law school at an SEC school, and graduated from another SEC school, I took particular offense at the bull that spewed from your Yankee mouth. Thus, I took the liberty to figure out what conference had more law schools ranked in the USNews Top 100. Guess who came out on top? Much like last year’s National Championship game, it was the SEC over the Big 10. Suck it, Billy Yank!
