72, i agree with you…i thought that was a really stupid idea…just like leaving Brodie in against W Carolina was a really stupid idea. He crapped the bed after that though and went from one extreme to the other…taking NO CHANCES and killing our team.

Please…while talking of Tressell…don’t bring up division 2. Honestly, the man has built enough of a resume in the division 1 game to where you don’t have to bring up his piddly ass d-2 championships. We get it…he’s a good coach. On a natl championship level, he is even at 1-1 with Saban and Saban is a better recruiter. Not taking anthing away from Tressell. He has done a damn fine job of building his team to where they can win games in a shitty conference.

Awww….someone needs a hug. *hugs tOSU* It is a culture shock moving south, isn’t it? I understand that it looks insane to some that 92,000 people show up for a scrimmage. And that it might not look “quite right” when call-in shows are dominated by football year round–not just during football season. And heck, it might even look nuts because the people here put up with all of the ridiculous stereotypes and misconceptions that large portions of the rest of the country draw about our home. I’ll let you in a on a secret. We let all that go because we don’t want people to realize how nice it is here. We want the people who are so quick to criticize and broadly brush the canvas of our culture with the splashy red paint of vitriolic, knee-jerk criticism to stay put in their safe bastions of normalcy…like…er…

Well, you get my point.

The bottom line is that drawing conclusions based on limited interactions with fans of any persuasion is unrealistic. I’d never assume that all OSU fans are self-righteous, uptight, angry people. And for the record, I like the sweater vest. It’s cute.
