We caught that one as well. That whole sequence was great. As I recall it was right after a failed Colorado field goal attempt and miss thang there could clearly be seen dropping a tortured, “fuuuuuuuuuuuck” and then tearing at her hair for a few seconds before busting out the exclamation point. It remains the finest piece of performance art I’ve ever seen. And it appears that she was on cocktail 85/100 and she’s cute too, so extra points there.

Ok so I saw this live on Saturday night stoned as hell with my one friend.

I had just said something to my friend about how I read some article way back when about how Colorado students would binge drink for like 6 hours before a noon football game, so we were gonna look for drunk students. Next thing I know, they pan in on these kids.

It was right after the CU kicker missed a field goal and she clearly said “Fucking faggot”—then covered her face in her hands like the wasted self that she was, then a delay and the bird. We rewound this clip about 10 times and it got better every time. If somebody could get the video of this y’all will see what I mean. Classic.

Watching that happen live was the most awesome thing since Matt Cadell’s touchdown.

There is nothing to spin. This is not a political thing. This is a UPD thing. UPD are assholes and have always been assholes. They’re nothing more than glorified rent-a-cops who couldn’t qualify to get into the real police department, and thus take out their station in life on the very same UF students they’re supposed to protect. I remember one time back in ‘93 they pulled my roommate and I over for going like 3 miles an hour over the limit on Radio Road, and they had three cars show up and the lead guy came over and harassed us, hand on his holster, because he said we “looked suspicious” and he thought we “were trying to run away from him” – by doing 3 mph over the limit, after which they stuck my roommate with pretty much every charge on the ticket that they could think of, despite the fact that he was courteous to them the whole time and we were pretty much the only vehicle on radio road, other than the UPD fucker of course. In reality, I’m really surprised that something like this hasn’t happened a lot sooner. All I have to say is thank God they didn’t carry tasers back then. Oh yeah, and Fuck UPD.

21 and 39; my take is the guy was an ass who staged the incident and had a friend with a camera video tape it. He was rude in his questioning (rants), wore out his welcome, was asked to leave, wouldn’t, had the mike turned off, wouldn’t leave, resisted being led out, and, much to his surprise, got his ass tasered when the UPD got fed up.

I can’t speak to the situation you brought up, but from viewing the tape and having experience with jerks disrupting public forums, removing him by force was the right thing to do.

However, they should have taken him outside and then tasered him.
