Oklahoma gets the nod today boys, but LSU is scary.
Naturally Bama fans will claim three victories today, 1 against Vandy, 2 because Saban is the only reason LSU is even a school, and 3 because the mere arrival of Saban has made Auburn start to suck and drop OOC games to unranked teams that have only been playing football for 10 years.
What’s really going to be funny to watch is how Bama fans and Nick Saban are going to take credit for beating themselves when LSU kills them - Nick Saban is soo good that he is the only coach who can build a program so deep and so fast that only that program can beat him…and I am dead serious, Bama fans will find a way to glorify Saban and still give him credit if he loses to LSU.
Nebraska will get drilled by USC.
Penn State looked pretty good - JoePa has turned things back around - nice bowl win last year and nice start to this season.
My Buckeyes need to take better care of the ball - we’re young, playing more freshmen this year than I can ever remember playing in the past. The defense is okay, but the O-Line is an issue and a serious one.
20-2 doesn’t look or sound good, but if you said 68 total yards of offense for the Zips and 16 straight 3 and out series, 20-2 doesn’t sound sooo bad. Granted it’s Akron.

Anybody else see the USF fan dressed in Greco-Wrasslin’ tights tug his pecker on National TV? Stay classy, South Florida.

Wow, the Pac-10 beat two mid-majors. Somebody hold the presses.
Right now I’m utterly confused by what’s going on. UNLV, South Florida, it’s like Appy State got all these traditional doormats to wake up and Fight The Powers That Be.
I’m really, truly, utterly terrified of what the BCS championship picture is going to be like. USC is not safe. No traditional power is safe.

LSU… holy shit, that was a beating they handed out.
Meanwhile, over on Versus, Wisconsin finally managed to hang 20 on UNLV with a minute to go. Woo Big Televen!

If Auburn fans are excitable, then you’d better give ‘em some space right now so you don’t get taken out by accident during the rage…

I’ve noticed that Auburn fans are extremely excitable. Even if they are playing poorly against a weak team or just got destroyed the week before, they cheer as if they are the best team in the world killing another great team.
That’s awesome if you are a fan I guess, but seems kind of obnoxious to an outsider such as myself.

Pac-10 also breaks both of the two longest winning streaks in college football coming into this week.

Is it just me, or are the media really blowing the Miami-Oklahoma game out of proportion?

Yep, and when you find me saying that the Pac-10 is some “great shakes” because of this game, you’ll have a point. As it is, I can only assume that you just like the noise your lips make when they smack together.

Who is using one data point to prove somethign to the exclusion of everythign else? Just because Michigan sucks donkey dick doesn’t make the PAC-10 any great shakes. Please.

After two games it is evident….Our offense is sharp on execution and the playbook, we got the talent…but I would say our biggest problem is lack of experience. Too many stupid mistakes and lost some poise tonight when Troy rallied. The Defense was on the field too long and with Troy down by a large margin, they needed to pass constantly, which wore out our defense.
Special teams look a lot better than last year.

Our defense looked stout tonight. Still not impressed by our offense but we gashed ‘em enough to win.

yeah, no more “trick plays” for GA…we can’t handle it…I am consoling myself with LSU

I am still reeling from the Click Clack of the Old Ball Coach today in Athens…Stafford was terrible and so was the play calling…and did VA tech bother to show up for the LSU game?

Wow. That was the worst offensively-called game since the GA Tech game last year.
Awful. More dropped balls. Some weird plays that lost bunches of yards. Settling for field goals again.
Georgia is not a top 10 team. Neither is South Carolina, but they were the better team tonight. Georgia couldn’t stop them running late. Ridiculous.
Trips to Knoxville & Tuscaloosa for the Dawgs do not look promising.

Oh, my! That ‘Evil Genius’ has done it again tonight, this time to UGA in Athens. How sweet it must be for the ‘Cocks and the Ol’ Ball Coach. You know how much SOS just loves to whup UGA. I am NOT looking forward to UF playing them this year.
