Orson,

Reggie Ball’s career is over. His toughness, competitiveness, wildly inaccurate passing, and questionable decision making are all gone. Why torture us with his photo? Part of me is still worried he’s going to show up on the field tomorrow.

Having said that, however, I would note that Kyle Wright and Sean Glennon didn’t particulalry care for their mayonnaise sandwiches last year.

Charlie Weis will never lose a football game to Chan Gailey. Last year, Tech totally outplayed ND but lost because Gailey decided that throwing the ball to the best receiver in the country against a subpar defense wasn’t an option.

Even if Weis himself was QB, I’d pick Notre Dame. Good players can never, ever, ever overcome bad coaches. See NAME REDACTED, Gary Pinkel and Karl Dorrell. Weis may not be the (OMG!!!) Genius some make him out to be, but he’s a good coach that can get the job done. errrr, against inferior or equal competition.

Reggie Ball would be worst spy ever.
