MUSTACHE OF THE DAY: DAVE GROHL
We've missed a few in a row, so here's a superlative Mustache Wednesday Mustache of the Day for you: Dave Grohl from the "Learn to Fly" video, lovingly and haphazardly screencapped for your pleasure by yours truly.

Happy Mustache Wednesday, motherfuckers!

One nitpicking point: So when does Phil Steele get his stache repped on Mustache Wednesday?

Anyone else think the drummer looks kind of hot when he cross-dresses? Like in a Bugs Bunny as a girl bunny kind of way?

Am I the only one who thinks it’s funny that Uncle Rico and Lazlo Hollyfield are the same guy?

Orson,
Saw this on CNN.com. You are from Franklin, Tennessee correct? Might you know these people?

At some point, TCU defensive coordinator Dick Bumpas needs to be mustache Wednesday. Not just for his ’stache (do a Google Image search) but also for the name. Seriously.

So it appears Spurrior has moved up to code Orange… he’s no longer stating his goal for the season as winning more than he loses… he actually has told the team their goal is to win the SEC Championship… STEVIE’S BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AL.com is blogging it in quick, if not quite realtime, fashion.

Favorite Dave Grohl moment:
-A Foo Fighters show at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre back in early ‘01, the band, after completely rocking the house, returns for their encore. They begin with a cover of the opening overture of Rush’s “2112.” Grohl spent the majority of the song posing with his back to the crowd, trying to mimic the Rush album’s cover art.
The Foos’ tour rider is the stuff of legend, too…

“I thought we had done something when we beat Clemson,” Spurrier said. “But then Kentucky beat them in the bowl game.”
I love the OBC

Hey Papa Lou, I actually did one of their riders. Nice guys, but their road manager was a total ass. He kept demanding things that were not on the rider or in excess of what was called for.

“Nice guys, but their road manager was a total ass. "
Based on my past encounters with the concert industry, I think that’s actually an integral part of the job description for being a band’s road manager…. although some of that is understandable (even big-time acts still have to deal with the occasional shady local promoter trying to rip them off… it’s much worse for touring acts still playing clubs and such).
That said, there are plenty of road managers who let their authori-tah go to their heads, and begin treating the venue staff like their personal servants. It sounds like the Foo Fighters’ manager falls into that category…
Nevertheless, that tour rider of theirs still cracks me up… remember, CAULIFLOWER BLOWS!

Did Krist Novoselic have a ’stache? He deserves this award more, because he was always overlooked compared to Kurt and Dave.
