DAILY AFFIRMATION: DAY 46
That thing on the horizon–it’s the clarion call of hope, friend.
The other thing on the horizon? It’s West Virginia quarterback Pat White, and you’re never catching him. Don’t even try.

Orson Swindle and Stranko Montana are two men pushing thirty who should know better than to run a college football blog, but evidently don't. Both graduated from the University of Florida, and both agree that college football is far too important to be left to the professionals.

Vroom….CRASH goes the GT dback, as they are prone to do. (see Rambling wreck for reference)
Orson, when Is the almighty Tebow going to grace us with his presence?

Just guessing, but I doubt you’ll see Tebow during this countdown. All images to this point have been of mere mortals.

And to think, Sly Croom told Pat White he wouldn’t play QB in college….at least not for the juggernaut MSU offense.

Seriously, Orson. I coulda done without that.
You can make up for it, though! When you include Tebow in the countdown, show a pic from the Georgia game…

Oh no…
The WVU hype machine has attacked here too!?!?!??
They have the coach, the players and most importantly the schedule to make the run….
But we’ve heard that before from the ‘Eers…
Hope they can keep it together this year for their fans sake…
Or instead of burnin’ couches, M-town citizens might be lightin’ themselves on fire…

FYI, LSU told Pat he couldn’t play QB also.
Vrooom is right.

Woooo!!! More Dinky Fulmer Cup Points for Richt’s Saints.

I feel bad for CouchBurnin’Girl with all this pre-season buildup and the inevitable 9-4 record with one of the two getting hurt in the 5th or 6th game and slow downward spiral as RichRod gets courted yet again for a higher profile position.

Good to see King is such a quick learner in Athens (although in fairness, has he actually enrolled yet?).
I hope he can pick up the offense that well.

We need panther growls.

Damn, not yet August of his freshman year and already his license is suspended. How did that happen?

Jermaine McKenzie likes the Vroom. Hell, he dreams about it.

I just can’t wait to watch WFVU. So much fun. All of a sudden it’s like……laser beams.

There is something about watching that offense. Every single play you get a sense of anticipation knowing they are eventually going to rip off a 50-yard run for the touchdown…

King doesn’t have a drivers license - at home he RAN everywhere he went. First time driving I understand. You can understand his confusion; he RAN down that street the day before and wasn’t arrested.
As an aside, Georgia has pictures of the entire WfVU backfield; side views are blurry but the ones from behind are sharp! Vroom indeed.

If I recall correctly, PW’s “Panther” goes something like this: “Meoooow, Meooow”.

18 — that is AWESOME. Classic. Of course, it seemed to me that last year the curse of death for Gator opponents was to do the chomp in mock celebration. Ohio State, LSU and Tennessee players were all caught taunting with the chomp last year — didn’t work out so well in those games . . .

Who’s Pat White?
Mos Def is the quarterback for WFVU, and GT sure as shit isn’t catching the Boogieman.

Um…that’s not a DB…
Sadly that is one of our greatly out of position linebackers in every defensive series of the Gator Bowl.
Mind you, if one of our WR’s doesn’t throw a stupid block that WAS a clip, Tashard Choice waltzes into the endzone in the 4th quarter.
Oh well…
Sept. 1….Class is in…
