ANTHEMS, ANTHEMS EVERWHERE: SHUT UP AND SING IT!
Back before country music fans hated them, nobody could question their pipes. On par with the classic Whitney performance, we give you the Dixie Chicks.

Pixie Chits? Orson, this is right up there with the farting hand job…and I don’t even like country.

There was clearly some “help” there—the strings piped in, the vocals (most likely) also pre-recorded and touched up a bit… but I’ll be damned if it didn’t give me goosebumps a couple times.

Gin: 1,000 flowers in your mouth fighting over which one gets to make you puke.

My youtube is blocked. Is the video from their “love our country”, “sorry about what we said”, or the “fuck it, apologizing didn’t work, we take it back and will be fucking real now; please buy tickets” stage of their career?

They left the country (music genre) before they talked shit about it. Notice a trend there?
I want my insults American style – in my face, with a can of whoop ass to back them up.

Haha. Tampa Bay in the Super Bowl??? That’s hilarious. Like that ever happened….

I swear I heard the short one say “which one of you fags wants to smell my ass”.

I remember seeing this rendition, truly the best in Super Bowl history. They had great songs. Too bad they spoke what was probably on the minds of a lot of country musicians.

I imagine the average country singer, much like the average country music fan, places their love about like this:
America
…
…
….
….
….
….
…
….
….
…
…
any low-down, lying, sonofabitch politician

I guarantee that wasn’t on the minds of most country musicians. Nor was it on the minds of most Americans when they said it.
It’s amazing how many people seem to remember themselves as holding the minority opinion at the time. Self delusion is cool.

Stranko,
Tell me, which one of them is from South America?

Its not cheesecake, just a rousing rendition of our impossible to sing anthem. No latin required
