UM, WE, UM…RETRACT THAT.
That whole “this is sparta” business?
Um, we retract. Welcome back, Billy. Didn’t mean to kick you down the well just yet.

Orson Swindle and Stranko Montana are two men pushing thirty who should know better than to run a college football blog, but evidently don't. Both graduated from the University of Florida, and both agree that college football is far too important to be left to the professionals.

Every non-UF fan across the NCAA just collectively shat themselves and started weeping uncontrollably. I will be sporting a priapism for the rest of the day.

What’s the matter — did the Magic try to make him go Woo Pig Sooey?

Not so fast, my friend (hoops style). Reportedly, Donovan is “conflicted” and is still talking contract with the Magic:

Billy found out that every single team in the NBA pays their players, and the league doesn’t do a damned thing about it. Good for him to take a stand.

Ahhh, the most glorious and entertaining of soap operas in sports: When a coach’s common sense clashes with his ego.

Florida Times Union has him waffling. Whatever that means. For now, I am neither acknowledging the fact that Donovan is coaching either the Magic or the Gators. Please for the love of God come back. Anthony Grant scares me. Man has no emotions whatsoever.

The last time we had a coach with a decision-making problem he was the laughing stock of CFB and we fired him. Of course, he didn’t exactly win 2 NCs.

This is what happens in negotiations when there’s no announcer standing in front of Wild Bill with a microphone, before a national television audience, who asks, “IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER?”
Until then, it ain’t final.

The DeVos family probably slipped in something about selling 25,000 units of Amway products.
Talk about scary.

An Ohio team advanced to the finals of a basketball league this weekend, and Donovan became confused, thinking that Florida would have to play (and, inevitably defeat) them.
The Magic are trying to explain the situation to him, but Florida’s running with it.

Beat-
Koetter all the way. Between quarterbackgate and all of the late-game punting last year, I don’t know how he got hired in the first place. Since you mention it though, Snyder wasn’t exactly the world’s best game coach either. We sent him out on a rail too, but at least he won a conference title.
