The confederate flag was removed from the top of the SC state capitol in 2000, and moved to a flagpole at a confederate monument on the Statehouse grounds. Despite that, the NAACP and NCAA have continued to boycott the state. I think it should be removed, but think the fact that it’s this much of an issue still is stupid. Now, back to your regularly scheduled smartass comments!

Incidentally, this implies that the Huey Long-built Louisiana state house was pre-enlightenment, which would mean as of 1932, the Enlightenment had not reached Louisiana….
