Yeah, I know what you mean. You don’t even see the little guy, and then he introduces your unsuspecting halfback to the meaning of “cruising altitude.”

I wanted to somehow build a whole team of 6-inch-tall players, particularly because I wanted to see them with the ball in their hands. I suppose I could’ve tried to throw picks to the linebacker all game, but … I can’t handle losing.

#15, I have also seen the 6″ tall linebacker. Kentucky had one. I got my video recorder out to tape it. I kept thinking they were in a nickel package ever play, until I figured out why my running backs were tripping over their own feet.

I can’t remember what team I was playing against, but I was running no huddle, and somehow the opposing coach got onto the field and trampled by about 6 players. Of course, he was flying about 5 yards every time a player ran into him. It was pretty hilarious.

a big problem is that, when you run into a kicker, the computer will take the field goal instead of 5 yards / 15 yards and the first down. when i was in the early years of furman’s march into div 1-A, i won a game on that.

I meant, “alot of these plays aren’t glitches”. If you play online, these gimmick plays won’t work against someone w/ a flexible defense. The problem arises w/ you “sell out” to defend the option/hb direct and then the guy throws it deep on you. W/ a little micromanaging, you can pwn them.

Alot of these plays are glitches, just most people don’t micro-manage their D on NCAA 07

3 things to rapidly improve your defensive game:
1) the “commit” function. w/in 2 sconds of snap, press up to “commit” and better handle a pass play, down to react to run play, and left or right to commit to option/sweep play to that side. IF you are right, your D will be in MUCH better postion. IF you are wrong and get fooled by a draw, play action, or fake pitch, you’re F’d in the B. But overall, very effective.

2) Learn out to “pinch Out” your Defensive line. NOT crowd or spread them out, but you can actually control what direction they block in. Tell the DEs to go around to the outside on most plays (unless they are running between teh tackles) and alot of times they’ll stuff the QB on the option or HB Direct by themselves w/out linebacker help!

3) Learn how to individually assigne spys or zone coverage on every play. Once again, adding a spy or droppin a guy back will confound the defense better than running “crash 2″ every single time.

Run one of the wishbone option plays with the Hogs where the QB hands off to DMac and he can either run it himself or pitch it to Felix Jones, good luck stopping that. I just hope they put the “Wildcat” formation in NCAA 08.

If I could use that QB glitch online against my buddy he probably would never play again. He’s lost enough recently that it’s becoming harder and harder to get him to play.

There are a few other glitches in ’07’s version of NCAA. Passes that are tipped by players 5-10 yards away, some plays that are virtually unstoppable(HB direct, etc.) and I’ve seen the refs use incorrect hand signals on certain calls. And that’s just a few of them.

#10- Your friend’s experience was a lot like everybody else’s back then. Dooley didn’t have to be exactly innovative on O with that guy back there (good thing, too). Just give it to the freak that’s the size/strength of a typical DE (1980 version), runs over the LBs, and outruns the DBs…

Man, option with the Mountaineers on NCAA ‘07 is one of the greatest inventions ever. Toss left, toss right, touchdown. Three times in a row my roommate had to give up in the first quarter. Fourth time he started throwing crap at me.

the option is damn near unstoppable in 07, along with the HB direct
i led USF to a couple undefeated seasons and heismans on the strength of those two
there’s also a PA fly play in one of the shotguns that is near impossible to cover when you throw to L
love that game.
