Mary Lakes, Reggie Nelson mother who has been in a battle with breast cancer since 2003, died Thursday night . We our certain that any words we might attempt would be inadequate for Mr. Nelson but our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. May she rest in peace.
Orson Swindle and Stranko Montana are two men pushing thirty who should know better than to run a college football blog, but evidently don't. Both graduated from the University of Florida, and both agree that college football is far too important to be left to the professionals.

Wow, I just saw him talking on the Sun Sports Bowl Preview about how she is always telling him how good she feels. I’m sure his world is rocked right now. I know what it’s like to lose a parent at a young age. Heart felt condolences to Reggie and his entire family.

I just heard the terrible news. I went to highschool with Reggie. I am keeping him and his family in my prayers. I cant imagine what he is going through right now. He deserves every GREAT thing that comes his way with all he has gone through. His mother is in a better place, and doesnt have to suffer any more. They will meet again some day! Sorry for your loss Reg
