Speaking of Mardi Gras, there used to be a bar (Nick’s) in New Orleans that had a special carnival drink. It was called “Throw Me Something, You Cocksucker!” Just wondering what the L.A. version might be.

Oh, well if “several news outlets” are reporting LSU to the Rose then it must be true.

The way they’re reporting the LSU story, the subtext is “Even if USC loses and Florida wins 48-3, there’s no way the Gators are making the Nat’l Championship game.” Because if the Rose Bowl has a shot at USC-Michigan, I’d assume they’d take it. Sorry, guys.

The good news is that if you win on Saturday, you get to go to New Orleans and kick Notre Dame’s ass. Good times, good times…
