IS THERE A BIG GAME COMING UP THIS SATURDAY?
You better be ready.

Orson Swindle and Stranko Montana are two men pushing thirty who should know better than to run a college football blog, but evidently don't. Both graduated from the University of Florida, and both agree that college football is far too important to be left to the professionals.

Pants,
Dude, I am not a grownup, and I was reminiscing about Auburn-Alabama games. I didn’t know the gameday party scene in Columbus was such a touchy subject. It’s all in good fun to get that messed up and wreak havoc, as long as you don’t assault someone. So sorry to offend Buzzkillington.

On weekends? Sounds like every night to me. But maybe I’m not normal.

Cardiac-
My post was an attempt at “humor”…I’m a grownup, who will certainly drink a few beers before and after The Game, and who will also make it a point to call out classless drunken students who harass those who came down to support their team…I will celebrate the day with OSU and UM fans, and celebrate the night with OSU fans (provided we win)…
The negative rumors of the gameday atmosphere in Columbus have been greatly exaggerated, luckily, I get to enjoy it again firsthand rather than read some whiny bloggers recap of it…

Pants McPants,
It does seem that on weekends like this (especially for a tOSU or Michie fan this particular weekend) the consequences are always the same whether your team wins or loses. You’re gonna vomit, fight, sexually harass, or all of the above despite the outcome of the game…the next day when you are regretting your behavior is when a win comes in handy…in the case of a loss, you got nothing to fall back on in your misery pool of regret and vaguely-memorable lewd comments.

I just hope no one gets hurt after the game. I have no problems with dumpster fires and burning couches. Just don’t hurt anybody Columbus.

I agree,
sadly and disturbingly, I am actually expecting some really bad things to be goin on after the game. The riot police will be out in full force, but I really am expecting to see some flipped cars (hopefully not mine, i just got a new one) and some shit on fire. Not that its fun to do, but combine beer w/ 19 year olds that have never seen anything before=me getting maced by cops again. (although last time it was just for hanging on the goalposts). At least this time I will be in B deck, so I prolly wont be near the pepper spray.

Those UN peacekeepers better have a good exfil route mapped, ’cause if they’re anything like the usual sort of UN peacekeepers, they’ll be
Outgunned.
Outnumbered.
Outmatched.
I can’t wait to see the after-game fiasco. Weekends like this at tOSU make the one rowdy weekend–Hallowe’en–of my alma-mater (Ohio University) look like like preschool in comparison.

The UN peacekeepers are scheduled to arrive in Columbus on Wednesday.
