We spell “is”? Are you guys still recovering from the game?

Way to pull that one out of your a$$es…. all those cheeseburgers you guys ate on the bye week must have made you sluggish.

by JR on Nov 12, 2006 1:13 PM EST reply actions

I guess now its Jarvis Fn Moss!

by mack10zie on Nov 12, 2006 2:37 PM EST reply actions

Jarvis Moss is such a cock block.

by brink on Nov 12, 2006 3:40 PM EST reply actions

Man, SC did everything they could to give that game to you guys…

Made field goal turned into a punt due to delay of game.

Missed extra point.

Ball on the 10 yard line called back due to false start.

And then a blocked field goal..

Ouch!

Cockblocking, now that’s a subject I understand. Unfotunately there’s no office pool on it.

by officepoolprincess on Nov 12, 2006 4:53 PM EST reply actions

it is Jarvis F’n Moss!

by hack on Nov 12, 2006 6:03 PM EST reply actions

Another Texas boy.

For all the talk about how Florida is the best football state, it took a Texas boy to save your asses last night.

 You’re welcome ;-)

CBS sign in UF student section:

Cock
Block
Spurrier

by strangebrew on Nov 12, 2006 7:57 PM EST reply actions

Actually, #5, we blocked the extra point as well. And I’d say that we tried just as hard if not harder to give the game to USC- just seemed like nobody actually wanted to win (except the fans, which congrats to everybody who was there, I’ve heard that it was crazy)

You know that stupid Man Law commercial where they discuss new signs for football? The one where they have “B-Lock?” As I was leaving the student section after the game, someone was holding that sign combination up, and suddenly I had alot more respect for that commercial.

I bet Jeremy Foley slept well last night.

by Southern Papa on Nov 12, 2006 11:03 PM EST reply actions

Eh. SC handed the game off courtesy Spurrier’s weird-ass playcalling on that final drive. As soon as he got within a 50+ yard FG, he let all the time run off the clock by doing dives into the line. Definitely not what I’d expect from Evil Genius. Who sets themselves up to make a difficult kick, rather than… I don’t know… getting closer?! Yes, there was the called-back slant completion, but still. Leave yourself a little room. It’s not like the amazing rushing attack of the 2-headed QB was going to get Florida into FG range inside of 30 secs. And if you’re going to burn clock, do it when you’re on the 20, not the 45.

by Jackwraith on Nov 13, 2006 8:50 AM EST reply actions

Fuckity, fuck, fuck.

That was not a “delay of game” on the FG, by the way.

Jarvis Moss is a freak.
Good luck the rest of the way, Gators.
We can’t have Arkansas representing the SEC in the BCS.

by GamecockTony on Nov 13, 2006 8:56 AM EST reply actions

The stadium noise after the final block would have been louder but every fan over 65 died of a heartattack after the halftime flyover.

Those F-18s couldn’t have cleared the scoreboard by more than 50 feet.

by RedRoot on Nov 13, 2006 10:01 AM EST reply actions

Yeah, at first I was confused why the people in the North endzone started cheering during our moment of silence… and then two big scoops of badass flew over.

by Jgator on Nov 13, 2006 10:37 AM EST reply actions

I was a wee bit on the excited side once Moss stetched out that menacing wingspan, effectively proclaiming, “Get that weak sh&t out of my house!”

Meyer’s Gators have 12 blocked kicks in less than 2 years on the job; who is this Beamer Ball character that gets all the special teams love?

opp #6,

please make these comments Before or After I drink my coffee, not WHILE I’m drinking it. Too funny.

When office pools for cockblocking become as popular as office pools for the NCAA tourney, I hope to be too old or too married to care.

by SeaTrojan on Nov 13, 2006 12:49 PM EST reply actions

Gators are not a bad team, but not a top 3 team. Weak on offense lately… When you look in the mirror, you probably can admit that. Kentucky is one of the best teams this year in the SEC? Good thing you have that media machine working. It still won’t be enough. I’m thinking USC/ND winner plays MI/OSU, and that would be proper.

by jerry on Nov 13, 2006 12:59 PM EST reply actions

ND has no business being in the championship game w/ that weak ass schedule. It’ll be USC, UF or Arkansas.

SOS on the CockBlock:

http://www.thestate.com/mld/thestate/sports/colleges/university_of_south_carolina/15992226.htm

"Couldn’t get it up," Spurrier said, matter-of-factly of the kick. "Couldn’t get it up."

by NYCGatorOX on Nov 13, 2006 2:44 PM EST reply actions

Would agree with above comment that ND doesn’t belong if they can’t beat a #2 USC at USC. If they do, however, they belong in it over Ark or Fla. (USC 50, SEC’s current brightest star Ark 14, in Ark).

by jerry on Nov 13, 2006 5:30 PM EST reply actions

Ah come on SeaTrojan. Can’t you see it now. All you hardcore gamblers checking out the cockblockers record for successful denials of the digits, allowing for injuries, pitting those Rico Suave types against a bitch on a mission. Too much fun.

by officepoolprincess on Nov 13, 2006 9:40 PM EST reply actions

Now that I think about it, does anyone remember Dave Chapelle’s Great moments in Hook Up History skit? lol

by officepoolprincess on Nov 13, 2006 9:42 PM EST reply actions

opp,

I can proudly say I’m not enough of a gambling degenerate to break down the mating game into esoteric statistical categories.

Having said that, witnessing such a battle can be an amusing and entertaining spectacle depending on the skill and the spirit of the participants.

by SeaTrojan on Nov 14, 2006 1:15 AM EST reply actions

Can you honestly think that this year, a ND or Southern Cal could survive an SEC schedule with one loss? That answer alone should be enough to tell you that neither ND or SoCal deserve a trip to Glendale with a one loss SEC team in the mix.

by Jim on Nov 14, 2006 2:22 PM EST reply actions

SeaTrojan… TRUE THAT! lol
