Where’s the Big Ten hate?

It’s coming…you have to save your last, most desperate shots for the end.

I expect to see some Big XII bashing dammit!

Please, please, please, do not discriminate against the Pac-10. Didn’t we all experience a little schadenfreude when the one-championship dynasty lost?

so the nd one will be the last one?

When will the ACC respond….

Mack,
The ACC only plays basketball, right?

ClayNation actually has some pretty insightful political commentary there. Who’d a thunk it?

While Louisville all-but wins the Big East title against West Vagina tonight, Herbstriet claims the Cardinals derserv’ed of #3 in the BCS after giving up 34 points at home. Questions arise…

A.) Does Kirk understand the difference between the press box and the Gameday set?

C.) Is rushing the field reserved for mediocre conferences?

B.) Should a team with an entire endzone devoid of paying seats qualify for a shot at the national title?

#10, aww hell, why not?

by hazer on Nov 3, 2006 12:06 AM EST reply actions

geez, #10, bitter much?
UL is expanding the stadium by 20,000+ in 2-3 years. the open endzone with the Unitas statue is pretty cool.
go Cards

Ahhh, West Virginia, we hardly knew ye. Louisville, step on down—you’ve just drawn the short straw and will be getting trounced by the OSU-Michigan winner. Sorry. Trust a Notre Dame fan—it is not a good experience.

The Lousiville – Rutgers game should be epic; two teams who have no idea how to stop the run on defense.

by Beergut on Nov 3, 2006 4:04 AM EST reply actions

A great game would be a matchup of WV-ND, neither team has a defense and both have been highly overrated. I guessing the final score would be somewhere around ND 200- WV194, where Quinn starts the game to throw 5 interceptions then shows why he is the “greatest QB in college” to throw a 10 yard slant that the Shark runs 40 yards and takes to the house for the game winning score.

by Bhors on Nov 3, 2006 8:11 AM EST reply actions

a pistol w/ a bayonet could score 40 plus against the defenses we saw last night

by beatAuburn on Nov 3, 2006 8:13 AM EST reply actions

Also, I wouldn’t exactly throw Louisville into the nat’l game yet- WVU would have gotten there, I don’t see Louisville making the jump tho. Why you ask? Because in the computers, where UF is ranked 4th, Louisville is 8th, and WVU is……..13th. Therefore, it’s not like they’ll get a huge boost, and even if they do sneak past UF in the rankings this week (and next with Rutgers, although you heard it here first, Rutgers upsets ‘em), I don’t see them holding an advantage after the SEC champ game. If UF wins out, Arizona bound.

by italiangator on Nov 3, 2006 8:47 AM EST reply actions

Beergut, you mean the Rutgers D that blanked the number 2 rushing offense in the country can’t stop the run?

by NDTom on Nov 3, 2006 9:05 AM EST reply actions

Herbstreit is calling for Louisville to play in the national title game because he knows OSU or Michigan would “cut a swarthe through” (Microsoft Word theasaurus in the house) the Cards.

by AUAlum on Nov 3, 2006 9:48 AM EST reply actions

Damn its spelled swathe.

by AUAlum on Nov 3, 2006 9:49 AM EST reply actions

After last night’s game, I am even more convinced that November 18 in Columbus will be Part I of II.

by parker91 on Nov 3, 2006 9:57 AM EST reply actions

NDTom, Rutgers also gave up 199 yards to Donald Brown II of Uconn….so yeah, they can’t stop the run.

by Rob G on Nov 3, 2006 10:02 AM EST reply actions

It’s spelled Swatch. Duh. Didn’t you collect them in the 80’s?
