I think the video is stupid and dumb. Consider most of the SEC still haven't gotten over the Civil War, they hate everything north of them (BE). West Va. was smart to split from Va. before the South took a butt whipping in Civil War. Meanwhile, it was the north (northeast) where America is and will remain. More than half the battles for this country freedom took place in New Jersey and 3/4 of all battles in the north. The British knew there was little value in the south to commit large forces to fight country bums. If you ask the rest of the world where is NYC or where is Philadelphia they will know, but ask them where is Knoxville and they say what's a Knoxville? LOL

Was Mack Brown wrong?

2005 Rose Bowl: Texas 38, Michigan 37
2006 Rose Bowl: Texas 41, USC 38

Perhaps when he speaks, people should listen.

Yeah I have. And I'm sure the British thought it very unpatriotic, but we won and winners write the history books.

I think trying to secede is the most patriotic thing a person could do. Ever heard of a little thing called the American Revolution ?

Well I think you would add the West and North and Northeast together. The South would get stomped again and then still say the same things about all of them.

The problem is, the second a state tried to do that now, they would be invaded by the military like William Sherman going through Atlanta (albeit with better technology).

Come on. Iraq's a shithole and we can't even take that country over without royally fucking it up. You can't tell me that if the South tried to secede again, the North would be able to stop it. Our troops are committed elsewhere.

It may actually turn out good because the 'terrorists' would have to take a few years to regroup and decide which America they hate, the North or the South.

/completely tongue-in-cheek...please nobody take offense to this/

One other thing MP- name the only current US Senator who was a former wizard in the KKK.

I'll give you two hints:

a)he's not from a former CSA state
b) he's up for reelection this year (I think)

MP, seceding is not unpatriotic, as long as you feel that the country from which you are suceeding no longer stands for the ideals upon which it was founded, and the two-party system we have in place now rids us of more and more of these liberties on a daily basis. The problem is, the second a state tried to do that now, they would be invaded by the military like William Sherman going through Atlanta (albeit with better technology).

"since Don Nehlen started coaching WVU in 1980 the Mountaineers are 5-2 against the SEC with four of those wins coming in bowls."

Good point about those wins coming in bowls. It's the bowl system that pairs up teams like #8 SEC vs. #3 Big East (congrats on winning that BTW). In fact WV has NOT PLAYED any SEC teams that held a higher conference rank since 1980.
