Miami would do the same thing any team with athleticism does. They would throw deep because ND really can’t do much about it. If the players caught the passes would go unknown, but they’d sure be able to get behind ND like everyone else.

It couldn’t happen to a more deserving team than Miami. The fight against Florida International only served to highlight the classlessness of the U. They may want to re-think the idea of a thug-life ethos for the football program.

It’s great that Notre Dame fans, Florida fans, and, hell, just about everyone else in the college football universe can come together in harmony and piss themselves laughing at a 5-3 Hurricanes team.

I want to point out that the Hurricanes might only be favored in one of their remaining four games. That’s right–there’s a realistic chance that Miami will finish 6-6 this season, with wins over Duke, Florida International, North Carolina, Virginia, Florida A&M, and Houston by one point. I think that, had Thomas Aquinas known about this, he would have submitted six proofs for the existence of God.

I know they won in those years, but those were anomalies. Hardly anyone on those teams was arrested for something. And as we all know, Miami football without criminals is like Thansgiving without turkey: not the way it should be.
