AZ, I was impressed by the third and the kick was a brilliant call…I posted after the game, and do agree that even if your pass D is cause for concern, your schedule sets up such that we may never really know, other than when Leak comes to town, potentially limping.

Fascinating!

I recently saw an interesting monograph on the spread of neanderthal genes in the homo sapiens gene pool. Since the species did co-exist for an estimated 10,000 years, some cross breeding was inevitable. Perhaps surprisingly, perhaps not, the largest concentration of “humans” with the neanderthal genes is located in Gainesville, Florida.

Holding the ball for an entire quarter is undeniably an impressive achievement… but let’s not forget that South Carolina still finished the game with an edge in time of possession. And in the entirety of the third quarter, Auburn managed to put up all of 3 points. (It’s pure pedantry to exclude the TD, but since it was on the first play of the fourth quarter, I’m going to indulge – ha!)

I’m just not sold on Auburn as an NC contender. They were one tightend brainfart away from being in OT against Visorman, and that is a bad place to be.

Ltrain, if you cannot appreciate a third quarter where the other team gets 0 offensive plays – a quarter developed by an onsides kick and a 4th and 6 conversion, then I guess you’ll never be impressed.

As far as a good QB, I think Jamarcus didn’t even throw a pass into the end-zone, and WSU has a better QB than anyone else on our schedule save UF, so I don’t really need to worry too much about that, do I? Particularly considering UF has to play Bama and LSU prior to travelling to AU.

So, basically, it’s can AU nut up against UF? I like those odds. Leak/Tebow are possibly better than Jamarcus Russel, and they’re definitely better than Mustain, Yoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoooo Brent Schaeffer, Cox/Stafford, Jessica Parker Wilson Englemeyer Schmidt, and whomever QBs the Green Wave and Arkansas State.

One correction, Alabama man had very limited access to lottery tickets. Lottery is gambling and gambling is a one way ticket to Pat Robertson’s S&M chamber.
That is unless he lived by the FLA or GA lines.
