LIGHT POSTING TODAY
Due to an event of the familial sort, we have to lay off of the blog today and head to Tennessee.
Enjoy a stellar weekend of football. Especially if you’re in Tallahassee, since you’ve gone through so much just to get there.

Tallahassee: they’ve got cows.

I can’t think of anything that goes together better than football and symphonies. It’s like Beam and Coke.

Parker, I think that technically constitutes threadjack in 3, since the original post had nothing to do with Auburn. Orson will be so proud.

Gatorwalsh, nothing T.K has ever said has made much sense anyways, so the only response to his statements is really “Douchebagsayswhat?” (he falls for it every time, you’d think he’d catch on after a couple years).

FSU really plays Troy, Rice, and W. Michigan?? WHAT?!?! All in the same season, too?? Albeit those teams are certainly “in the bag”, that’s a damned shame, considering FSU will likely be in a BCS bowl after dominating (and winning) the ACC with another 8-4 season.
Play a REAL schedule sometime, geez.

a jeff bowden offense vs. bama defense will be a laughable match-up, even two degenerates like Rader and Shula should be able to put up 10-14 pts in order to win the game

Erk Russell was the last athlete to letter in four sports at Auburn. The man left a big impression on three different schools (AU, UGA, and Ga. Southern). Not many people can say that.

With all due respect to post #6, I dont’ believe my alleged “threadjack” in #3 should be labeled as such. I was simply pointing out the fact that Auburn is, too, a home of cows….an addition of very relevant and pertinent information to the most awesomely provided Swindle-fodder.
A threadjack only occurs when a totally unrelated point, a la #4 “Auburn is a fucking shithole” is made in such a thread. As such, I would have to say that the threadjack record remains at 4.

Since threadjack re: Erk Russell has already happened. Here’s a great quote from a great man concerning his retirement from coaching: “At Georgia, the coaches told each other that you were getting old when the recruiting prospects’ mothers began looking good. I knew it was time for me to get out of coaching at Georgia Southern because the prospects’ grandmothers were beginning to look good.”

As Joe Cullen made the same SI list as Zooker, we should take notice that Cullen was a graduate assistant on Zook’s staff last year. He was a graduate asssitant 15 years before at UMass in 1990 and had hekld SEC posts and even been DC at Indiana. I think Zook had to can him for alcoholic idocy, too.
