THE ORGERON’S TRICKERATION WILL NOT BE DENIED.
Watch Ole Miss pull out what is simultaneously the lamest and coolest trick play of this very young football season. The kid running the ball is Devin Dexter McCluster, whose name is just begging for a profanity-suffixed modification.

Beergut,
You talked about how bad Ole Miss’ D is (it’s not bad actually, they just played terribly) and then said commented as to how good Chase Daniels is. You followed that up with your guess that Ole Miss isn’t going to score much…
Ole Miss will score ATLEAST 3 thouchdowns. I know that isn’t an offensive Juggernaut, but it’s better than “not scoring much.”

The story behind the play is that Ole Miss Tight End coach Hugh Freeze used to run that exact play when he was the head coach at Briarcrest Christian High School in Memphis, TN.

Issues in the secondary? I think Ole Miss has issues at every position on the field except maybe tailback, one linebacker spot, and quarterback.

brandon siler would sniff out that play 23 minutes before it was run. he would stand on the opposite sideline, with his eyes closed, and still run over to make a tackle for a loss.

Just from watching that game, I think Ole Miss has some issues in their secondary. This doesn’t bode well with Missouri coming to town.
Chase Daniels is the new QB for Mizzou, and he’s not your ordinary sophomore QB. He’s basically running the same offense at Mizzou as he ran at Southlake Carroll HS in Texas.
texas’ ill-fated pursuit of Ryan Perriloux in 2004 cost them their shot at Daniels, who was arguably the best HS QB in Texas that season.
Maybe Willis will get a few knocks in on Daniels. I just don’t think Mississippi is going to score much.

The fumblerooski has worked against a SEC “D” Clemson pulled one off against a 6th ranked UT in the Peach Bowl a few years ago, either 2003 or 2002.
