ALL HAIL THE BLOG POLL BALLOT!
Mock away, but here's the ballot for Week Zero, which like Year Zero will be about stripping the rotten framework of last year away and making room for a new, glorious worker's paradise of a season to arise. Hopefully we can skip all the killing and carnage, though, since as a glasses-wearing dork we'd be toast.

Hey man, where do you get your drugs?! Cuz I want me a piece of whatever you’re smoking!
UT at #8…words fail me amidst an ocean of uproarious laughter…
“Oh Rocky Top, you’ll always be..overrated in the S-E-C! Good ol’ Rocky Top! Hopefully you’ll beat Vandy!”

These things get crazier and crazier as the season approaches. God, we need us a real game, and soon!

I thought you guys were over the 31-3 ass kicking last year. C’mon, you gotta have at least 6 SEC teams in, right?

Its amazing how people overreact to polls, no matter their shape or form. You could release a top 25 poll of the cutest puppies and kittens and you’d still get reactions of overrated, and can I have some of what you are smoking.

As a Tennessee fan; if we get anywhere close to 8th, Fulmer will return to being a god.

Phil Steele and I demand that you replace someone with Arkansas. Running back mishaps, qb injuries, cornerback surgeries be damned!

He is a God, Smitty, God and watcher of any buffet within 20 miles of Knoxville! Roll Tide!!

Overrated at #8 in this poll? Absolutely. Overrated last year as a preseason top 5? Sure, but I’m sure there are a lot of you who are glad your team isn’t playing UT this year and a lot of teams who are glad they aren’t Cal.

The Orgeron is in route to Orson’s place of business at this very moment to drag him behind his Hummer for not listing Ole Miss at #1.

It’s a preseason poll. If I were to put out a preseason top 25, I’d have all of the MAC and CUSA on there. And the three service academies. There’s no evidence so far that the Broncos of Western Michigan aren’t the best team in the country this year.

Auburn, LSU and UT in the top ten? How SEC of you….
by Torquemada on Aug 16, 2006 2:26 PM EDT reply actions
This is not the only poll that gives Georgia a low rank, but I think they are far better than 22nd.
by tzubear on Aug 16, 2006 2:30 PM EDT reply actions
Screw the Broncos of Western Michigan—-the Chippewas of Central Michigan have the answer for them!!
by Chris on Aug 16, 2006 2:39 PM EDT reply actions
The Eagles of Eastern Michigan might have something to say about directional superiority in the Wolverine State!
by Alex on Aug 16, 2006 3:08 PM EDT reply actions
NAY! My mighty Chippewas shall slay them all!!
And if Bowling Green is in Mt. Pleasant, I shall call upon all CMU students to harass their damnable Falcon mascot as I did once upon a time
by Chris on Aug 16, 2006 3:10 PM EDT reply actions
you know, having grown up in the south and being one of 43 Razorback fans on the internet, I never thought I’d be spending any time rah-rahing the Chippewas. Then again, I never thought that’s where I’d end up graduating from…
GO DIRECTIONAL MICHIGAN!!
except for Northern Michigan…damn D-2 Yoopers

Vols #8? Until we prove otherwise, i’m not sure I’d rank us #8 in the SEC. #9 maybe – there are Kentucky, Miss St. and Vandy without Cutler. Other than that, is there anyone else we can simply show up and beat?

I just noticed that Southern Mis And UCF are supposed to have pretty good teams. If UF has line problems we may see the Gators go down like a Tenn. high school Principle at football tryouts.
by CHARLIE MURPHEY on Aug 16, 2006 3:27 PM EDT reply actions
So if Duke gets #25 because they hired Spurrier first, and UF gets #13 because they had Spurrier for so long, why isn’t USC on the list???

Miami may have to play all day games this year because most of there players have to be home by 10:00pm.House arrest is such a pain in the ass,

I object to Iowa, Louisville and Clemson because I cannot stand the Iowa coach, I hate the Cardinals and Clemson cheats all the damn time and they still usually lose.

When it comes to Ohio State, their season consists of a victory against Texas and a victory against Michigan. They achieve both those things, they’re in the title game. Which is kinda lame, but that’ll be the Big Ten for you this season.

By the way, the Russian worker dude’s flag says “Builders, on watch over the world’s wealth!” and the text below it says “Houses of Moscow, built beautifully, strongly, quickly! Fulmer is imperialist swine!”

Evil CliffX, you might want to read up on the Big Ten, especially in regard to the proven quarterbacks returning

Agree with you on Auburn, if not for the talent, definitely for the schedule. Coaching and talent matter most, but schedule plays a HUGE role. That’s why Auburn has a great shot at the title. We’ve broken down a new top ten that way on the323.blogspot.com, if anyone is interested.
