Exactly what I was thinking, Pete!
WTF? Apparently the cost of the weaponry had to be deducted from the monthly payment. Wait…my bad…monthly NON-payment.

My question is, what I’m wonderin’,
Who was Mo on the way to kill?
by Boclive on Aug 10, 2006 1:06 PM EDT reply actions
According to ESPN, at the time he was stopped he was a block away from a woman that was scheduled to testify against him this week.
So, Boclive, that would be my guess.

I heard on ESPN Radio that the chase began 1 block away from a witness to his armed robbery charge. interesting……

Mo Clarett has been possessed by Satan. That’s the only possible explanation for all this.
I mean, there’s criminal behavior, and then there’s criminal behavior carried out in such a bizarre and bush-league fashion as to call one’s mental competence into question.

“Who was Mo on the way to kill?”
It is alleged that he was receiving death threats

Anyone else surprised they have Waffle House in Ohio?

He was 1 block away from a witnesses house?! Holy crap that scares the shit out of me! Note to self, never piss off a ex-tOSU player…ever.

I want to know if they can charge him with any kind of intent or anything based on the proiximity to the witnesses house. Probably why his bond is 5 mil. where is DoreBlogger when you need him?

Love the bottle of goose next to the tommy-gun. So Prohibition. I bet that pic turns CBG on.

Interesting article on Mo in the ESPN magazine (I know, I know, WWL sucks and all). I guess Mo made a few phone calls that night just a couple of hours before getting pinched. Tressel was among them…

Aaron…are you suggesting that he was on the way to kill himself? Hmmm…

Wooderson-
That is strong, but for me the lint roller in the seat is even more epic. W. T. F.?

I think they have him on enough things by now that his intent might not be relevant.
Regardless, you have to be one bad dude to have won a national title at Ohio State and have everyone there hate your guts. Nobody is defending him anymore.
You know, he might be the first back selected in the Ohio Penal League fantasy draft.

For the record, that is not a Waffle House…it is a Tee Jay’s…a local Columbus late night dirty diner…imagine a Waffle House with more greese…they serve a dish called the “Barnyard Buster”…three eggs, three strips of bacon, three sausage patties, and hash browns completely covered in sausage gravy. The bigger question is, why did Clarett also have a hatchet in his vehicle?

Maybe if he had a better agent when he signed with Denver he’d be driving something better than that POS car.

Actually Wooderson, it was the Waffle House that got me all hot and bothered.
I don’t like guns, and I do my own “importing” of top shelf booze from DC into the hills of WV. They ain’t got nothin’ but moonshine in them there parts…
Mmmm… waffles.

He had good agents with Denver. They advised him to take the league minimum Denver offered him, but MC wanted to sign an incentive laden contract that would pay him first round money if he ran for 1,000 yards in something like 4 straight years. Denver happily signed that contract and then cut him when he hurt his hammy. If he listened to his agents, he would have been with Denver for at least a year. I wonder if Master P was calling him on the side?
