WE PROMISE TO STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD AFTER THIS: UM SUSPENDS FOUR FOR OPENER
Miami suspends four for the opener against FSU, including receiver Ryan Moore, whose suspension is a holdover from his Peach Bowl punishment. That this can’t be considered close to big news today is a tribute to the awe-inducing achievement of earning 28 Fulmer Cup points in a span of four days.
We promise to step away from the computer now for at least one hour.

“It’s all the same incident,” [Head Coach Larry Coker] said. “The message is pretty clear — we have high standards here. We’re a program of quality kids. And these kids are good kids. They’re not bad kids. But we’ve got to get this message across.”
So, I’ve learned 2 new euphemisms from Miami today:
1. “High Standards” = “getting suspended”
2. “quality kids” or “good kids” = “Getting shot in the a$$ and having my roommate return fire”

I hate Miami – it’s almost like they do this just to hurt me. It’s sickening enough that I have to root for them once a year – and now this.

Is there any way we could, I dunno, differentiate between Miami and Michigan’s initials? I saw ‘UM’ in the headline and about had a heart attack.

Of course Moore and Moss weren’t going to play anyway. Moore was previously suspended for the first two games and Moss hasn’t fully recovered from his latest knee injury.
