RAMONCE TAYLOR GONE. FULMER CUP POINTS STAY.
Ramonce Taylor will be transferring from the University of Texas, but not dropping memorable quote. (HT: DevilGrad.)
"Frederick Douglass once said, 'No struggle, no progress.' I've had my share of struggles and now it's time for progress," Taylor said.
To recap: Frederick Douglass. Avoided bands of slavers through harsh conditions with little food to freedom.

Ramonce Taylor: Ran away from Brian Cushing to a heated bench while handed Gatorade by sideline lackey.

Struggle on, Ramonce.
Since they occurred while he was at Texas, Fulmer Cup points remain with the Longhorns.

As Bob Marley used to say, “The more people smoke herb, the more Babylon [or Austin] fall.”

First Ricky Williams, now Taylor. Do all Texas running backs smoke the weed?

Poor bastard. Nobody understands the trials and tribulations of a catered to running back at one of the top schools in the country. Fight the good fight, Ramonce.

How do you transfer from a school you’re not enrolled in?

Easy to let him go, when we have Jamal and Young to carry the ball….

Is he heading to the friendly (and soapy) confines of Troy State?

Give the kid a break.
I think the analogy is completly apt.
When you think Freedom Fighter and Revolutionary Ramonce’s name will be right there with Thomas Paine, Caesar Chavez, and Stephon Marbury who last week compared himself to Ghandi and Malcolm X in a single breath.
Hyperbole? I think not.

Do you know how much herb Cedric Benson use to smoke? I use to live in the same apartment building as ced at orange tree when he was a sophmore. he use to invite us to come smoke blunts with him and his “boys.” Some of the funniest times ever came from those nights…

@Squishy,
Taylor wasn’t on the team in the spring but he was in school. He was also taking classes both online and at UT this summer trying to get back into the coaches’ good graces.

Looks like burning the herb is going to give Utah State a big surge in the Cup standings.

When I garduated from high school, my parents and little brother moved to Belton, which is Ramonce’s hometown. I am now in college, and when this happened with ramonce, the day afterwards his SUV was towed and kept overnight at a local bodyshop in town. My dad is good friends with the owner of the shop and gave him an interesting detail or two about ramonce’s arrest. Apparently, an officer who had been on the scene told him that when ramonce was actually arrested (after he pretty much called the cops on himself) he began to cry and wail on and on about how he was being set up and insisted on showing the cops his nat’l championship ring on his finger. As he was being put into the cruiser, he started to scream “Call my momma!!! I’m being set up!!! call my momma!!!”. I swear to god this story is 100% factual and true.

I was an athlete and graduated in 1996 at Belton and I can assure you that the coaches along with the school allow these kind of activities to happen. As long as we were great on the field our actions and schooling were not of any importance

You are absolutely wrong about Belton. That was under the previous regime of coaches. The current regime of coaches is actually planning to request the board approve drug testing for athletes. Good thing you graduated, sounds like you would have tested positive.
Also, your teams were not very good then which is what brought about the change in coaching staff.
