MORE SAD NEWS: AGGIE LINEBACKER KILLED
The worst part of the off-season is always the inevitable tragic stories that pop up from time to time. Unfortunately for the New Mexico State Aggie’s, that tragegy struck them this time as Shana Leaupepe, the projected starting middle linebacker, was the victim of a drive-by shooting. According to police reports, Leaupepe was a good kid with a clean record who appears to have been shot completely at random. Rest in peace young man.

This is pretty messed up. Maybe it’s just because I didn’t pay a whole lot of attention in previous years, but it seems like there have been way too many college-football-related deaths this offseason.
