You should be out eating barbecue, drinking beer, and showing children the wonders of those jacked-up fireworks you bought across the state line that are in fact completely illegal in your state. But that’s what America is about: the freedom to blow your hand off in front of horrified youngsters you happen to be related to, and soothing the pain with a nice, cold Miller High Life on the way to the E.R.
Wherever you are on this holiday weekend, we hope your national anthem provider does it just like this cop did.
