SKLM, I do believe the GT type would drive saturns. Economical, practical, good gas mileage, made in the USA (since no one south of the Mason-Dixon can afford and import) and as repellant to a prospective female as a big brown stain running down the back of a D&D fan’s pants

In my area, Geeks also drive old boxy model Volvos – not the latest and greatest.

So, a GT engineering type would probably be like a Volvo – not pleasant on the eyes or much to look at on the outside, but very solid on the inside?

Wow, I deicde to actually do work for ONE day and I miss what is possibly the best threead to ever grace this site. Robotech was ok I guess, but it was 3 different series form Japan (Macross, Southern Cross, Genesis Climber Mospeada) dubbed over a strung together to create one show. Yeah I guess I’m the biggest nerd back here. But I agree, Starblazers (nee Space Battleship Yamato) was the bomb, and having recently watched it, I have to say it’s eerie how much of it George Lucas lifted to make the star wars films. Anyways, Anime discussions on this topic begin and end with the original Macross series and Neon Genesis Evengelion. I will now go light myself on fire.

and SKLM is still bigger dork than me.

(and Lisa Hunter was by FAR the hottest woman in the Robotech series)

Robotech was great but, if you want the BEST cartoon series ever, you need to look old school. STAR BLAZERS rocked. Who can forget the Comet Empire? The Black Tiger squadron? Nova? Wildstar? The list goes on.

The Argo would kick anyone’s @ss day in and day out. jus tpower up that wave motion gun and your whole planet is destroyed.
