APB: GEEK ADVICE WANTED
We're now at the mercy of the geeks: another service interruption last night as a result of MySQL queries and some code malfunction we can't come close to understanding. Something involving that coding swamps our shared server and gets EDSBS's account suspended by our host.
We're now openly soliciting pro bono geek advice to help us figure out what the hell's going on here, throwing ourselves at the mercy of our tech-savvy readers. Leave a comment, or email us at address listed in the sidebar.

Nothing unleashes our inner imbecile like attempting to solve the simplest of website problems.

I’m certainly no expert, but if you aren’t using “with (nolock)” in your select statements, that might cause trouble. Anything more advanced than that, you’ll need a geek who has finished his training.

Ask an Ohio State fan. They spend enough time on computers at the library to know, right?

As a still recovering veteran of the dot com era and since reformed geek of the web development variety, I’d be more than happy to help out. Shoot me an email with the specifics.
