Wow, Doug. That was almost English.

I say congratulations, because with grammar and prose like that, the fact that you can operate a computer is proof positive that there is no law against being stupid.

Don't knock gilbert godfried. His lively introductions to the wonderful shows on "USA Up All Night" are still stuck deep into the memories of my early teenage years. That and the incredibly chopped up Skinemax flicks they'd show immediately afterwards.

There's some trivia for you- name the only Sugar Bowl to ever end in a tie. Wait about 10 years, it will show up, although I'm sure the Aflac duck will be long gone by then.

Of course, with the mongoloid speed that college football evolves, it took another decade for overtime to arrive.

That 1987 season was pretty interesting. Rumors still swirl about that even if Syracuse had won that Sugar Bowl game, the Orange would not have finished atop the polls.

Miami finished 12-0 that year- there's no way Syracuse would have finished at the top- number 2 at best.

Fuck Pat Dye.

Fuck Dick McPherson- the quick-kicking bastard. If the NC were on the line for Pat Dye, he would have gone for the win (at least that's what I tell myself).
