O'LEARY GETS EXTENSION
Dr. George O'Leary, one time football coach at Notre Dame and prominent philosopher, mathematician and theologian (according to his CV), has been granted a major contract extension to continue coaching the Golden Knights of Central Florida. O'Leary is due to make a cool million next season which will escalate up to 1.55 million by 2015.

After a successful second season, O'Leary upped the ante by employing Urban Meyers patented pointing techniques.

if those pointing techniques are patented, he’s gonna need to start shelling out that 1.55million

All is not well in Orlando, however. O’Leary was quoted as saying that a mere $1.55 million is still an insult for a coach who has won a BCS National Championship, a Nobel Peace Prize, and an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for his groundbreaking work in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.

N.i.T.-
That red face is from a good old-fashioned Irish whiskey whose power is ten times the magnitude of the sun.

George O’Leary isn’t worth a damn as a coach. I’m glad he left Georgia Tech and screwed his chances with Notre Dame. By the way Tech’s better off with Chan Gailey as head coach!

OMG, Beebad. Never, ever, have I heard anyone on this site stand up for ol’ 7-5 Chan. You, me amigo, are a maverick…

Did I miss the press release stating that John Daly has taken over at UCF? If you strapped a mich ultra and a magnetic bracelot on oh no O’Leary, they would surely be identical.

Who’d of thought that a Leprechaun would do so well in Florida?
As for the Gailey comment, well that was just gai. I’m guessing though that many Tech fans are content with 7-5 finishes, bowl losses to UTAH and the annual butt-whooping at the hands of Georgia. But it’s Atlanta, does anyone really even care about Georgia Tech football there?

Yea key effort on pointing out that the redness is whiskey induced…its all the popped vessels in his face. Come to Boston, you’ll see a lot more of that.

It’s interestign to think what O’Leary might have done as ND’s coach, as it’s pretty obvious that the man has more than a modicum of coaching talent. He’s certainly better than Ty. But I’ll still take Charlie any time.

Funniest comment in the history of EDSBS … and I’m sure only about 7 readers got it (or care to).
