TEXAS RANGS FOR SALE ON THE DANGED OL' EBAY
Well, at Florida State it would have taken three months, and involved bundling with a stolen Chrysler Sebring stuffed to the gills with stolen goods--a Texas national championship rang (we figure that's how a Texan would say it) is up for sale on EBay. (Peter, you can't do better than $7,100 for a little chunk of the Rose Bowl? You've got a kidney to sell, sir. Call us and we'll hook you up with Mustafa and Yevgeny, the experts in this kind of thing.)
The best part about the ebay page:
NOTE: This is NOT the ring of a player who may have been dismissed from the team!!!
...which means the rang clearly belonged to Ramonce Taylor just a few days ago. (HT: Burnt Orange Nation.)
The Evil Gloved One is obviously behind this.

Out of curiosity, as an employee of a university in another state, I have to wonder who pays for the bling in the first place.

I’m having a flashback to the scene in Ace Ventura when Carrey goes looking for the ring with the missing stone. dunno why.

Maybe Ramonce traded the bling-bling for the 5lbs of ganja of which he was allegedly in possession. Or he could be raising some caysh to pay the lawyers…

I wonder if that is not the only ring that could or was paid for?

‘Tis a great idea, Orson, but how do you think I got to the Rose Bowl? I’m already one kidney down…
