BUSH LINKED WITH SCANDAL??

Amid sagging poll numbers that have dropped Bush into Herbert Hoover territory... wait, this is a football blog... but it can't be, can it? Too early to tell, but Yahoo! Sports has been digging into the records surrounding Reggie Bush's family's home recently and has been getting a few too many "no comments" for Pete Carroll's comfort. Apparenlty, the 3000 square foot home Bush's family has been living in for the past year is owned by Michael Michaels, who may or may not have been trying to steer Bush towards a particular agent. Stay tuned.

As a fan of watching his greatness for 3 years, we hope we can remember him like this and not for a scandal.

I’m going to make a quick prediction on this:

Before anything is cleared up about this whole mess, the guys at Onepeat are going to presume that this mess calls into question Bush’s eligibility (which it might, but I wouldn’t jump to the conclusion just yet) for 2004-5 and they’ll put up a billboard saying “Shouldn’t Dynasties win even one title?” and a million blog posts will be shouted at one another.

I wish I could put money on this.

They aren’t NCAA awarded titles, so they get to keep it regardless. Clemson and Ohio State are both grateful for that loophole.

Michael Michaels? Sounds suspicious to me.

It’s kind of funny, LD…
That’s also the first thing I thought of when I read the article.

I don’t want to sound like a bitch, but…
Technically, ND would have played Texas for the NC, and yes we’d have been embarassed by Mr. 6-point-wonderlic, since he’s better than Troy Smith, but, it would have been nice. That being said, we’ve had an experience with a game forfeited in our favor(1/1/99 Gator Bowl), but we didn’t take it, cause it’s not honorable. Any opponent of USC (other than UT) would dishonor itself by claiming a win should USC have to forfeit their season. Feel free to take back the door stop that is Bush’s Heisman (although apparently, you can kill your wife and not get your trophy taken away), but let’s face it, the only two games anyone could even bitch about are FSU and ND. and yeah, you know lendale white wasn’t too bad of an RB, and he probably could’ve pushed Nick Lachey’s lover across the goal line, but whatever. We want to win that game by 4 touchdowns. we don’t want a freaking forfeit.
