EARLY WORD ON NCAA 2007
Looks like next years NCAA game will finally have a spring game for the hard core college sports nuts out there... like our audience. The increased importance of momentum in a nice step too. You'll also have a chance to prove you can be a scholar and an athlete. Now if we could just get the Escalade and under the table cash involved we'd really be interested. We can't wait for the July 3rd release... although our wives sure can.

We're holding out for the Maurice Clarett mode on EA's College Football series, which combines the usual fine gaming product with Grand Theft Auto.

My last gaming system was a Playstation. If I had someone to play against, I might actually consider upgrading…

I thought it came out earlier in years past; still, good news—only two and a half months until it comes along to tide me over until the fall… at which point the season will pass in a blink and then I’ll be a year closer to death. So, um, thanks for cheering me up, I guess.

Well, as long as I don’t have to get an Xbox 360 to play it… I’m there.

Back to School—Excel in the classroom to improve your overall character, and then balance your time wisely between studies, practice, and social events as you live the life of a Student Athlete.
Looking forward to the underwater basketweaving and ballroom dancing, hopefully my players can keep that GPA afloat above 1.

Adam-
I think the ’08 version is working on a mode where you have to pick your “teaching assistant” wink wink, nudge nudge to help you more winks get the best grades still more winks possible.

You guys should pitch ’Fulmer Cup Mode" to EA Sports. You can recruit players with “questionable character” and have them wreak havoc in their college town. Sounds like a winner to me, they are always looking for ways to make the game more realistic.

If it’s gonna be GTA style missions, I’d love to try out the gay sheep abduction level.

Fortunately, I put a “down payment” on ’07 about a month ago.
The guy at Gamestop twisted my arm.

Um, Big Mike, they already have that. In NCAA 06, one of my linemen for the Gamecocks started acting up and one of his crew stole something. Had to kick him off the team to keep the NCAA fedz off-a me.

since EA isn’t in a hurry to pick a winner, i’d like to declare the photoshop derby open.

srschirm: There’s thing that consoles hook up to now. It’s called the internet… They let you play against other people.
Not that I use it. I am on my 20th season with 2006.
Thanks, now I can’t wait for July 3. My wife bought me a 360 for my birthday. Glee!

Are they going to release it for regular old fashioned Xbox? I’d hate to buy a 360 when it’s the only game I know I’d play.

I still say NCAA is by far the best EA Sports game.
Course I may be a tad bit biased since I was a programmer on 99 and 2000, and some of my code is surely still in there :)
