PrintUVA's caught the shitstorm bug in a hurry: fresh from tossing three football players off the team for various hip-hop related offenses (read: smoking weed), Al Groh's got Michael Brown, a UVA football player, arrested with a Wahoo soccer player for breaking and entering at the Delta Upsilon frat house.
Besides multiplying the crotchety factor in the Groh household--which already sits at an unmeasurably high level by most measurements--the wave of arrests presents a clear market signal to VA rappers and self-proclaimed pharmaceutical entrepreneurs the Clipse: a "budding" market for them is waiting in Charlottesville.

In case you didn't know, they rap and sell drugs. It's what they had to do.

Yeah, I was figuring Duke lacrosse could vault the Blue Devils to the top here if it was an all-sports competition. Maybe we should also have like an ADT Trophy or whatever that “all sports” trophy that the schools that give a crap about non-revenue sports usually win is called.

Just in time for the BlogPoll roundtable! But yeah, this sucks, even though Redd, Brooks and Franklin weren’t in the Music City Bowl. But as I tell everyone who’s quick to e-mail me about this, at least we’re not Duke. Hopefully, the interest in men’s lacrosse will lead people to finding out that UVA’s currently ranked #1. And what are two athletes doing at DU? Hot girls don’t go there. Unless Delta Sig’s still standing, that’s the most dilapidated house on campus.
