HOMESICKNESS CLAIMS THE PLAYING LIFE OF BULLS' OL
Of all the things to end your life as a football player in Tampa...homesickness is being cited as the reason JUCO stud (there are no juco flops, remember, only JUCO studs) Frank Harry is leaving USF and going home. USF is now out one quality line prospect, and you're busily searching for ways to shoehorn the name "Jukko Studz" into your screenplay about a motley team of commandoes who foil a Middle Eastern terrorist plot to blow up the moon.

Maybe he didn't appreciate the natural beauty of Hillsborough County.

Is that pronounced “Jew-Ko” or “You-Ko?”
I vote for the later, it’s more European.

His hometown must be paradise on Earth if he is willing to leave Tampa.

He’s from Mississippi. Maybe someone back in Mississippi offered him $5,000,000,000,000,000.00 to come back home from Tampa. Thats how much it would take me to go back to leave.

I believe he’s a DT – albeit a reported “stud” – Rivals lists hometown as Poplarville, MS.
I expect they don’t do cheesy grits correctly in Tampa

They don’t, PSU girl. Probably a key factor.

Is leaving school because of homesickness rank close to leaving school because you doctored up your resume?
by E-Man on Mar 29, 2006 12:34 PM EST reply actions
They might not do cheesy grits in Tampa, but I’d say it’s the worldwide epicenter of gritty cheez.

From what I understand, the chicks in MS may be hot, but the chicks in Tampa wear no clothes.

Todd:
Maybe I am out of it completely, but are you implying that Mississipi chicks are hotter than Florida chicks and that a footballer would leave Florida because of that reason?
I have not been to Mississipi, but I cannot imagine that any other place (besides California) has better looking babes than Florida.

SKLM has clearly never set foot on the Ole Miss campus.

Chris – My thoughts exactly. But in all fairness to SKLM, it’s a matter of personal taste. Mississippi is full to bursting with hot girls (and not just at Ole Miss. Southern and State have their fair share), but it’s a decent take home to mom kind of hotness, which I am down with. Florida girls have a “take her to a bathroom stall and then forget her name if you ever even knew it” kind of hot. Which I am also down with.

Todd is just generally down with it, ladies and gentlemen.

Chris:
Not that I do not trust your judgement, but, in the spirit of killing productivity at work, I googled “college women beauty rankings” and:
Your Ole Miss was NOT in the top 10 in some college survey site.
So, you may be just imagining things….

I refuse to confirm or deny any of the above allegations.

SKLM-Both USF and Ole Miss draw an “A”, so I stand by the personal taste factor. Though the rankings do make me feel sad for the poor bastards at Carnegie Mellon.

SKLM….that’s a seemingly good source! Arizona State is definitely A+, simply by virtue of Jenna Jameson being nearby. And no notre dame bias (they got a C+).
“Won’t see that in South Bend”

Any ranking on hotness and approachability that has Vanderbilt ranked ahead of Ole Miss (or any other team in the SEC) must be taken with a grain of salt. If “personality” or “ability to think” were part of the equation, possibly.

LD:
I think what the rankings are telling you is that at Vandy you have a better chance of scoring than at Old Miss(mis-spelling on purpose.)
The rankings, according to the website, are based on:
“A high grade for girls implies not only that the girls on campus are attractive, friendly, and approachable, but that theres at least a reasonable ratio of girls to guys at the college….
College should offer you an entirely new and engaging social scene, and with that comes members of the opposite sex who are not only attractive but fun and personable."
Not knowing you-know-what from shinola regarding most SEC schools, I think that the ladies from Vandy would at least out-look the ladies from Arkansas, which did not even make the survey.
Also, that southern accent……unless the chick looks like Daisy Duke, it would probably drive me up the wall….

It would be highly inappropriate for a college professor to comment on that set of rankings.
But, yeah, looks about right to me…

“there are no juco flops” – yes there are, they just go pro in something other than sports. Typically at Dairy Queen.

Vanderbilt’s claim to fame in the female department is SI swimsuit model Molly Sims
…oh yeah, Ole Miss is home to insane amounts of hot women.
