MZONE: INFIDELS!
The MZone puts on their Onion hat and wears it well by taking a "ripped from the headlines" story and putting it in a college football context. Start with this pic, and you'll get an idea of where they're going:

Amakah-blakah-blakah dirka jihad!
Unnecessary blogger-type instructions follow: read the whole thing. (And who doesn't?)
UPDATE!!! Mullah Todd is issuing fatwas over at 1000 Movies. Michigan fans, the homeless looking derelict and short guy with the deformed vocal chords from the Oak Ridge Boys are coming after that ass like NOW.

Eh. As an Alabama fan: Yawn. And as an Alabama resident: What the hell IS the big deal with Nascar? Seriously, I don’t get it.

you’ve probably seen it, but apparently it was kenneth tookes who fired the gun in webb’s apt.
WATB.com has the article. of course, no arrest or anything yet, so i’m not sure if it counts towards the fulmer cup…yet.

I ‘m going to burn my apartment complex down if you don’t say your sorry and remove the blasphemous picture from this web site…….Wait a minute I could give two shits about a picture of something that you know is a joke……I ’m not going to start killing people because your making fun of something near and dear to my heart……I mean if we killed someone or rioted every time someone hurt our feelings we would be………Californians..or worse religious freaks with nothing better to do than raise HELL every time someone tells them there overdoing it juuuuust a bit. But thats just my opinion. Either way Auburn can kiss my black ass.

Would an incident before a bowl game count for the Fulmer Cup? If so, then Clemson is on the board. First of many, let’s hope.
Apologies if this has already been posted.

Pretty funny, outside of the gratuitous shots at the South. Unwarranted yankee arrogance never ceases to amaze me.
And, while I couldn’t tell you the first thing about Nascar, perhaps those guys should read up—as I understand it, it’s the fastest growing “sport” in the world. Consequently, the notion that Nascar fans are exclusive to the South is absolutely ridiculous. Hell, isn’t there a race in New Hampshire?

Nate Forrest wouldn’t take this shiat from any damned yankee.

I’m just hoping that Bama sticker on my car gets me through the riots so I can get to class on time.

Damn humorless libtards, can’t even redneck bait around here.

Meeeeechigan. Clearly, any team with helmets like that would have to have fans with an active sense of humor, fans that can take a joke, fans that enjoy a good laugh.

The real reason for growing this beard finally comes out, Bear be praised!

The Sigma Chi house house is, once again, flying off the handle. Issuing another fatwa over the slightest provocation. When is the University of Alabama and thier student body going to stop supporting this behavior? As soon as Bama revokes thier charter we can finally bring stability and prosperity to the region.
Hows that for ‘yankee arrogance’?

MSR, Michigan doesn’t quite count as Yankee country.
by Domer95 on Feb 16, 2006 5:39 PM EST reply actions
Just to be clear: Michigan fought for the Union, and is therefore “Yankee country” in Southern parlance.

Can’t we all just get along.
I’ve always wanted to say that.
In a weird turn of events I’m on the South’s team this time.

Technically, anything north and east of Dallas is “Yankee country” and don’t you forget it.
by Kahuna on Feb 17, 2006 10:49 AM EST reply actions
Domer, I hate it, but to anyone from the real South, Michigan is most certainly “Yankee country.”

MSR,
read the article linked by orson. It refers to a fatwa issued by the Sigma Chi frat house in retaliation.
