CLARETT: INDICTED
Weird, long story gets longer: Maurice Clarett indicted on armed robbery charges. If you'd told us four years ago this was going to happen, we would have laughed you out of the bar.

Well the one thing we know for sure is that it was probably sadly easy for the police to run him down.

The most stunning element of the whole robbery thing is that if the police are to be believed, Clarett (owning one of the five most famous faces in the state of Ohio) was the one out of at least three co-conspirators chosen to walk right up to the victims without a mask on.
Unless the getaway drivers were the governor and Jim Tressel, that seems like a rather poor utilization of resources.
And yes, Tressel has an alibi at the time, being in Arizona to beat Notre Dame to a bloody pulp.

Easy Tom. I don’t think being up 7 with 4 minutes left qulifies as beating ND to a pulp.

At least we got a national championship out of him before he completely lost his mind.

Bitter — that is the single greatest image I’ve seen in… oh, a couple of days or so.
Beautiful. I enjoy the slightly obscured Vodka bottle behind the shotgun barrel, too.

Standard Treeselball blowout….You think your team has a chance…but to no avail…10-14 points is about right…

The cellphone accompanying said vodka bottle and Mossberg 12ga pretty much makes it the trifecta. Here’s to minimum security and time off for good behavior (yeh, right).

Notre Dame was never really in that game. Anybody who says otherwise didn’t watch it.

But in regards to Maurice, damn, some guys fall really damned hard. Almost as bad as running over kids on a playground after a football game cuz they mocked you. Shame he can no longer be claimed by OSU, surely would have helped em win the Fulmer Cup.

What if we said Clarrett would happen, along with Troy Smith and AJ Hawk, and OSU would get away clean?

The one about him having $3000 cash in his apartment.
Oh, wait — that’s true.

Are you like me?
Do you get the sense that, within another couple or three years, Maurice Clarett and Marcus Vick are going to head to Bolivia to get away from Joe LeFors and wind up getting blown away by the entire Bolivian Army in a blood-spattered sepia-toned blaze of ignominy like Paul Newman and Robert Redford at the end of “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid”?
