PURDUE'S KYLE WILLIAMS REQUESTS TRIAL MOVE. FULMER CUP POINTS GALORE
Purdue's Kyle Williams has requested a move for his trial from Tippecanoe County, Indiana to another venue, delaying hearings where Williams would formally face charges related to two attempted rapes and attacks in West Lafayette last November. The negative publicity (no doubt from notoriously anti-athlete newspapers like The Exponent,) would prevent a fair trial, say Williams lawyers, who are examining Williams' medical records in an apparent effort to construct a defense based on brain damage.
We wouldn't make light of rape--even though we did giggle at jokes about it in the movie Yellowbeard--but we are running the Fulmer Cup here, and should ask the question: does this count, since it happened in November? (HT: Comanda)

I feel like you should get credit for being charged with an offense, and then extra credit for actually being found guilty of the offense. So if you’re charged in November, but get found guilty in, like, February. You get credit for both years.
I don’t know why that reminded me of…
“Who would like to volunteer for our slavery program?…..anyone?…..you’ll get college credit…”

I want Purdue to win SOMETHING this year and we know it probably won’t be the Big Ten or a bowl game. Please count ’em!!!

Just imagine what his letter to The Exponent looks like:
“Yeah, I attempted to rape a sorority girl, pulled her jeans and panties down to her knees, punched her in the face several times, broke her nose, chipped teeth, split her lip, and then tried to choke her, so what! It’s over and we run this place!”

I definitely agree with the poster above who had the idea about counting arrests for a point and convictions for another point and counting them for different years if they take place in different Fulmer Cup seasons. I also think an amendment could be added to the allow points for every game the university allows a player to play between an arrest and conviction. As a university, you deserve the points for taking the egg on your face.
In closing, “We Run This Place” (and anyone who wants to dispute that will end up half naked, bruised, and sore like this bitch on the floor over here)

Nahh, this should count. Purdue’s season was over by November anyway.
