well, shit.

the collective ‘fellate tim tebow’ movement is going to be unstoppable now that the gators are 1-deep at QB for next year…

what do you guys think about the rumors of brent schaeffer to UF?

by ESMjr. on Dec 9, 2005 12:36 PM EST reply actions

This is good news. I take it to mean that Coach Meyer has abandoned the dead option. We don’t need a QB with the skills for which Portis was recruited.

I hope Tebow saw this in the FSU game, but if he’s not swayed, there is a lot of young talent out there.

After the CWS, I’ve been wanting to see more of Gavin Dickey at QB.

Um, Mrs. Postis, did you WATCH the Kentucky game?

by gatorjess on Dec 9, 2005 1:05 PM EST reply actions

Did he expect to start every game or something? What an idiot. I’ll be glad when that cry baby is back in Cali and the hell out of my home damn state.

If Schaeffer arrives, remove all baseball bats from campus and don’t bother saving a desk for him in the classrooms.

by Mike on Dec 9, 2005 1:44 PM EST reply actions

That’s a major surprise to me. My guess is he’ll be looking back west, otherwise it doesn’t make sense.

by Stranko Montana on Dec 9, 2005 1:44 PM EST reply actions

Probably bodes well for the Tebow bid, which may be good. (We try to be as hesitant as possible on any and all recruiting news. Think of the best looking woman at your high school, and what she looks like now, and you’ll see why.)

As for Schaeffer, why would you want him? He assaulted a fellow student. Not a character guy, which was one of the things Meyer was supposed to instill in the program. Boo, we say, if true.

Portis’s mother is making him transfer. Notice her analysis of when a quarterback should be developed. And he only quit after they had a ‘long conversation.’ Bottom line, I don’t think this is Mr. Portis’s decision. Mommy wants her baby back.

yeah, either he’s a whiny bitch, or she’s a forceful “my son is the best ever” bitch. Jim K is right on, what does SHE know about QB development?

And yeah, someone else pointed to the Kentucky game. There ya’ go… he didn’t perform. And she also said he’s mad that he didn’t play in the FSU game. That was the FSU game, get over it.

I hate to lose the guy — anyone who saw his wheels in the spring game knows that he can be pretty electric. But, yeah, maybe this will lure Tebow… or maybe Ingram will stay instead of transferring…

I was wondering how the Portis/Tebow mix would work.

Although I don’t like him much, Mack Brown handles parents who bitch about their kids playing time perfectly. He invites said parents into his office and pops in a practice tape. After about 5 minutes the parent usually apoligizes and leaves, never again complaining about playing time.

A: it didn’t!

How did Ms. Portis get along with Curtis Leak?

by Mike on Dec 9, 2005 5:53 PM EST reply actions

Probably swimmingly, since they both hold master’s degrees in meddling.

FLORIDA GATORS and the entire state of FLORIDA sucks!

C’mon now, don’t B-ridiculous.

B-Rad, go back to your buttfucking Tennessee ways and leave the football talk to the grownups.

by Kevin on Dec 10, 2005 12:38 PM EST reply actions

The first buttfucking I ever saw was on a Florida beach. Faggot state

by Floridass on Dec 11, 2005 12:42 PM EST reply actions

This is all momma. He wanted to stay, but he was having some issues with teammates. He has a tinge of Chris Rix syndrome. But mom pulled the trigger on this.

by Major on Dec 11, 2005 2:48 PM EST reply actions

It must have been harrowing to watch your mother go through that, Floridass. Especially at the hands of a dolphin (or fins? We’ve never referenced the rare but possible phenomenon of dolphin sodomy before.)

by Orson Swindle on Dec 11, 2005 3:31 PM EST reply actions

Being from Florida and attending Tennessee, B-Rad can go fifteen minutes west of Knoxville and find all the sodomy he wants, not to mention incest. Besides, the buttfucking only happens on Miami beaches and Key West, Its like a whole different country down there.

i knew the guy back in high school. We went to peninsula. Go panthers! (just kidding, i really dont care about my high school). He was a cool guy, i noticed he seemed dissatisfied with the playing time he got but it was always his mother who made everything pushed every problem overboard! She made it a bigger deal than he did! Transferring him from different high schools every year (even different ball clubs in pop warner!) I know it sucks to sit on the bench,(i know i carved my name in it) but suck it up dont give up so easy. If you’re transferring from one school to a another every year, that shows instability and baggage problems on your part. And if you are considering a possible career in the nfl like your cousin clinton, you better change that because nfl ball clubs dont like that, they actually frown on that stuff! No one wants another T.O. on their hands! Become the man that I know you can be and stop letting your mom control everything you do! Your mom is a control freak, she wants to run your life because she is bored of her own! She cares about herself and making the Portis name stand out, not your playing time!
