ZUBAZ! THE PANTS THAT MADE NJ FAMOUS.
Mike from BGS forwards us the pants that made New Jersey famous: Zubaz.
We’re putting a bounty out for Miami Dolphin or Tampa Bay Buc old-school orange ones.
We saw someone in these pants once–we now call her Mrs. Swindle.
Oh, and Rowdy Roddy Piper puts down the folding chair for a minute and sends us these primo ones, as well:

Recommended pairing: tank top, Oakley’s, and work boots.

Ahhhhh, much better. For more fun, check out . The West Virginia boys had quite a lot of fun with that one before our game. And yes, they’re totally serious.

Dude — when I was in fourth/fifth/sixth grade (’91-’93) I wore Miami Dolphins Zubaz. With the matching shirt, no less. And I still had friends. Weird.

I am SO. FREAKING. GLAD. I found this site. I have been laughing like an idiot for a week just digging around the place. Scrubs only for me, but we did wear Tiddies with them. The shame.

My brother in law used to wear zubas as late as 2000.
He is an ex marine, wife beating, beer swilling, steriod abusing f*ckhead. Not the best advertisment.

Okay, I’ve spent about 2 otherwise productive hours looking for the Zubaz designed web site worn by the Arena League Tampa Bay Storm from 91-93. I can’t find any pictures. I’d lovc to see it though…particularly if Jay Gruden is sporting it.

Hey thanks…I live in Jersey and I thought I had totally suppressed the memories of those f’ing pants. It was like living in a 70’s “Fruit Stripe” commercial around here for a year or two!!! For those who are too young and would like to regress, feel free to visit:

I can all but guarantee this guy drove an IROC to the game, drank stale Budweisers and listened to Bon Jovi in the parking lot:

ummm…that should read “uniform” rather than “web site”. The didn’t actually have “web sites” in 1991. God I hate Frasier.

I refer to them as Joey Buttofuoco pants. I agree, Zubaz was/is hideous.

Moose, living in Phily, I can attest that not only was it an IROC, but an IROC with slightly less than the legal amount of Bond-O holding the body together. Classic shot there. The old 700 club.

SOLUTION TO ALL YOUR PROBLEMS! haha.
I have about 50 pairs of Authentic, Never Before Worn Zubaz. They come directly from the manufactuer. All different team colors and sizes.
These are links to the 2 auctions I currently have going on. Check out my feedback, I have sold tons of these, and a bunch on ebay. Everyone has been more than pleased.
Feel free to e-mail me at zyry0301@stcloudstate.edu for team requests and if you’d like to order them. If you would like to order a bunch we can work out a deal.
Hope this helps you all with your Zubaz hunt!
