Eeerily enough, that’s the second time this week I’ve seen that picture.
I spend way too much time on the internets.

Great football game.
Jay Cutler was just insane tonight. That guy is going to make an impact on Sundays in the future.

I told you Jay Cutler was going to bring the pain.
I don’t know why the authors of this website don’t listen to my predictions instead of their own shitty ones.

On the other hand, I think it’s kind of bullshit to call Cutler a better QB than Leak based on this game (as ESPN has done). All Vanderbilt ever did was throw the ball. Every play. They didn’t do anything else. If that was all UF had done, I’m sure Chris Leak would have run up more than 260 yards. Also, I’m not really sure what Gator D was up to last night.
How much of the blame do you think falls on Urban Meyer?

All of it. He was the savior. But not to save an upset at home against Vandy.

How bout a little spotlight on our very own lockdown corner Dee Webb? If he makes that pick with the score 35-21 after an 8+ minute drive, the game ends at 35-21.
Why not look into Kenneth Tookes diving for the onside kick before it hits our side of the field?
If we can make a play in either of those situations, we’re talking about nothing but the upcoming Pope v. God game.

Cutler was very impressive. The excessive celebration penalty was easily the most outrageous calls I have ever seen. That being said, Cutler’s childish pouting in the OT coin toss wouldn’t impress a pro scout.

vandy truly got jobbed on that excessive celebration penalty. it’s a shame when things like that have to affect games in such a manner.

Can we talk about Leak running it? I think that was one of the best things to come from the game.
Also, I know this blog is strictly college football, but blink twice if you noticed Crowder with seven tackles and Fason with first pro TD. Early departing Gators make good. [Doubt we'll hear v. much from Roberson and Walsh.]

Crowder’s hit on Griffith causing the fumble in the first quarter was one of the hardest hits I’ve ever seen.

I gotta’ disagree with the one guy who said that all Vandy did was pass, ’cause if you remember right, they were surprisingly able-bodied when it came to running, and that caused problems early.
However, in the second half, yeah, passing all of the place. Cutler is solid, the pouting was understandable, but a little overdone.
We were getting upset about the fact that Cutler just wasn’t getting much pressure, much less was he getting sacked… but I noticed that he was getting rid of the ball very quickly on a lot of their plays. Gotta’ hand it to the coaching staff for putting him in that position, and to Cutler for making those reads so fast. How many times did they complete a little quick slant or button hook for 7 yards? Ridiculous.
