AINGE TO START AGAINST IRISH

The quarterback carousel continues in Knoxville. Not surprisingly, Ainge has been named the starter for Tennessee's matchup this Saturday in South Bend.

That’ll last only until Ainge is ineffective, in which case Clausen will come in and be equally ineffective.

I think it’s time they let Jim Bob Cooter have a shot at it.

There not even a joke left to be made here really, they’re pretty much a walking one at this point. It’s kind of like choosing between the giant douche and the turd sandwich.

Of course the moral of the story is that, (at Tennessee anyway), athletic prowess drops precipitously as you move down the family tree, and let’s be honest, neither of these families was exactly dealing from a position of power to begin with.

In light of Clausen’s comments today re: Sanders, it sure seems like Ainge is Phatty’s boy and Clausen is/was Sanders’.

This was the game last year that knocked Ainge out…it was all down hill from there….. Hard to believe Jim Bob has not received a change yet

Phil Fulmer is a fat clown.

Wait wait… if the can somehow muster a follow-up to the LSU performance, they can play Ainge for just a few minutes — thus making him the “starter.” Then, Clausen can “come in late” and “save the day,” as he did in that game down in Baton Rouge.

Some might say that’s toying with the gods, or toying with fate. I might say that’s just good coaching.

This just in, Fulmer re-benches Ainge in favor of Clausen… Rick, that is. I think he’s taking an unofficial visit this weekend.

Sorry. I meant Jimmy Clausen. Throw that joke in the shitter.

Not that it will matter who he starts, the giant douche and the turd sandwich pretty much summed it up. Although a turd sandwich would actually run better than either of the two.
