Eyelift? Is Skip Bayless the sportswriting metrosexual?

There is no question about it Orson. I watched about half a second of Cold Pizza once before I realized that I’m listening to a host talk about sports that OBVIOUSLY tweezes his eyebrows.

Skip Bayless is horrible. He was here in Dallas for several years, and everyone hated him. He was the true contrarian – always picking the side of an issue that was most controversial rather than the side of the issue that was “right”. He openly thinks he’s smarter than 95% of his audience (and based on the “average” listener, he probably is but not by that margin.) He’s famous here for publishing a book where he quoted unnamed sources and innuendo to claim that Troy Aikman was gay. It wasn’t too long afterward that he moved on to Chicago.
Having said that, I agree with most of his article. He infers that Va Tech is as good as Texas, and thus as worthy as them to be in the Rose Bowl. But I’m not sure him being a little “anti-Texas” doesnt go back to his days in Dallas.

I hate hate hate hate hate hate hate Skip Bayless. I’d do anything to see Woody Paige beat the tar out him one day.

I don’t disagree that Va Tech is on par with Texas… but to say USC is 3 touchdowns better than Texas is baseless. Obviously in a given game, things can get rolling and one team can run it up, but there is no objective basis to say USC is 3 TDs better than texas at this point in the season. It is pure contrarianism.

Ew. The bandwagon is officially full.
I gotta agree with nixforsix. In fact, I think we should put together a pay-per-view event. Who wouldn’t pay $49.99 to see Woody go after Skip with a glove wrapped in barbed wire?
